The location is great, also have several options of 24-hour meals just 5 minutes walk away. The room is quite small, but still convenient since you can put your opened luggage under the table.

It so happened that there was an Indonesian hotel staff member who recommended a restaurant near the hotel that was delicious and cheap.

Staff hotel can speaks english, their staff even can speak indonesian.

Room okay, not too small. Just right for 4 of us. Location very strategic.

The hotel is quite spacious and comfortable and has a private balcony, the equipment is also complete and there is a separate spacious cupboard, a separate cooking table, even though the design and furniture looks quite old, everything functions well.

This hotel is really have a good location. Very close to Iriyaguchi Gate to Ueno Station for JR line, and also close to Inaricho station if you wanna go to Ginza Line or Asakusa. It 's pretty old building and interior but we had everything that we need for our stay. A little bit improvement in cleaning will be very good.

Helpful English speaking staff. Spacious room although many hotel rooms in Ueno are usually cramped. You need to cross three big intersections to reach this hotel from Iriyaguchi exit of jr ueno Station, although it 's relatively a straight baggage-friendly path.

The hotel is in a good location, but there is no drinking water, even the central service is old and there is mold in the bathroom, the faucet, the sink doesn't look clean.

The overall service and facilities were good however the room was small.

I stayed for 5 nights and it was satisfying. Cleaning service cleaned my room one time only since I stayed for more than 4 nights. English speaking receptionist, free amenities in front of the reception. Comfy for solo traveler. Clean bathroom with DHC toiletries. The location was excellent, in the heart of Ueno, connected by Ueno Station and Iriya Station.
