A gem of a hotel. Staff were super friendly and helpful, the room was spotless - and it had such character in the way it was decorated! Stepping out of the hotel to see the beauty of the cathedral right in front of you was a great bonus too.

I booked this hotel because it said it had a 24 hour reception as i knew I was arriving late. I called the hotel at 8pm just to be sure and a person that barely spoke English, French or German told me that the recption closed at 2200 CET. I managed to convince this person to deposit the key in an envelope and give me a code for the door. When I got there, the corridor was very messy and I found the letter in a pack of post. The hotel is located in the middle of the pedastrian zone and even taxis can't get closer than 300m.

It was a very good placed hotel! The deluxe room is a 10/10.

Arrived early and reception kindly held out cases. This was our only staff interaction. Located centrally. Good rooms - well apportioned. Atmosphere and views were authentic and enjoyable. Highly recommend.

Amazing place to stay. The location is exceptional and the staff is extremely helpful The chocolate Santa’s for St Nick was a very nice touch

I was hoping for a room with a Rubens, good room though! Wished the shower had a door to keep the rain shower head from getting water everywhere (square shower with a half glass opening)

Fantastic location! I had a great view to the cathedral, the room was very nicely decorated and very comfortable. I would stay at this hotel again.

The hotel is in the old sector. We had a spectacular view of the cathedral. It’s on the old square. Unfortunately it is quite noisy when in the room. Not a problem through the day, but it continues late into the evening. The worst part of our stay were the garbage trucks coming and going throughout the night starting at 1am right through to sunrise. This was early Tuesday morning. The hotel itself is very nice.

The staff were very friendly, helpful and accommodating. The area is close to everything and convenient. The standard room I booked is directly above a fish restaurant. The smell in the room was unbearable. I asked to move and had to pay more for another room. There was an air freshener in that room that was extremely strong. I had to place it in a sealed bag. I understand the hotel is in a historic area and old but I felt like I was staying at a hostel. Would not stay there again.

The location is fantastic, right in the middle of the action and it doesn’t get better than this! The rooms are too small (we had two rooms), and the layout of the bathrooms was weird, with the toilet in a super tiny room by itself, while the shower and sink are part of the bedroom. This is totally understandable though because the building is old (maybe historical?), and the incredible location and cleanliness make up for the size and layout. I would definitely stay there again.

I was thrilled to be in the room I had where I could see the Cathedral day or night. I found the staff to be completely helpful and the breakfast offered so many food options excellently prepared and beautifully presented. Thank YOU!!!

Great great location. Quiet, secure hotel cross the street from Cathedral and all means of public transportation, restaurants and shopping. Highly recommended. Could not have asked for more!

Great hotel

Excellent Stay-our room did not have a balcony but still Great View of the Cathedral and very convenient to walk to major attractions

Ideal location but not ideal stay. I booked a basic single-looks and sounds much better on line. Very small cramped room with bed in corner, against wall. Dark walls, poorly lit.i didn’t bother with breakfast, left to catch train. Don’t know if it would’ve been worth the extra €17.50. I did very much enjoy Antwerp

Rooms are extremely small, not maintained, bad beds, noisy, uncomfortable - will not go back
