The location was really great to get around and see all that Skagen has to offer. The room was nice and the bedding was so comfortable! The staff was very helpful and friendly. Bike rentals are available right on the property which was handy! I would stay at this property again when in Skagen!

My husband and I booked this hotel for a last-minute, one night stay. After being at the property for five minutes we immediately booked a second night. The hotel is run by a lovely couple who go out of their way to make you feel welcome. Everything is perfectly decorated, clean, charming, and presented with care. The breakfast is wonderful, as are the cocktails and tapas in the afternoon. Rental bikes are right on the property making it easy to hop on and go. A million thanks to Didde and her husband for making our stay so special. We'll be back!

A very nice hotel and stay

Such a beautiful place and the owners and staff were so nice and helpful. Their food was fantastic. We can’t recommend this place enough.

Wonderful experience! Would love to return. The room was clean, cozy and had a wonderful beachhead vibe to it. The breakfast (complimentary) was excellent! The decor of the hotel was so well thought out and the location was perfect near the beach and shops. Wish we could have stayed longer.

Perfect room and bathroom - just pacious enough for one person with a desk overlooking neighborhood. Excellent breakfast and evening meal options. Wide selection of drinks, special cocktails. No difficulty parking. As a single, elderly woman traveling alone, I was so warmly welcomed. Owners went out of their way to make me feel comfortable and safe. They also helped guide me to special sights of interest in the area. I would love to return to see more of this beautiful part of Denmark.

This is a clean, friendly hotel where the owners go out of their way to be hospitable. The place has been recently renovated. It does look over the working harbor but that is a plus in that the area is less crowded with tourists. Bike rental on premises. Easy walk to Skagen art museums and station. Lovely breakfast and indoor and outdoor tables. Thanks for a lovely visit!

Cheerful and fantastic service with great breakfast

We had a beautiful room with a balcony. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The breakfast room was lovely and the food was fresh and delicious. We would love to return some day.

Beautiful and comfortable rooms. Very accomodating hotet in a walkable area. Limited plus in the room and limited checkin times were a down side. Would stay here again.

Staying at the Strandly Hotel was the highlight of our visit in Denmark! Our room was beautiful, open and bright and clean Thomas and Didde were so welcoming! They have a lovely hotel with such charm. Every morning we came down stairs to a delicious breakfast of fresh breads, cheeses, fruits , yogurts, sliced meats , eggs and so much more. They had teas , coffe and juices. We were thrilled. Throughout the day you could order sodas , coffees and wines and other spirits at cocktail hour. The location is perfect , easy to walk into the charming town and across the street from their beautiful beaches. Thank you so much for our beautiful weeks stay. Although the United States is far away, we hope we can return to Skagen and the Strandly hotel soon. Thank you again Thomas and Didde for making our visit so memorable. 🙌🙌

The owners are wonderful people, room was great, quiet and comfortable bed, nice breakfast buffet. Highly recommend the hotel.
