Very central , good value breakfast

The ac didn't work the first evening and we got locked outside for a few minutes in the middle of the nigth, because the key pad broke. But overall good location.

The room was the size of a shoebox , the shower was next to bed

Very attractive hotel with pleasant bedrooms and a charming breakfast room. Its situation up a quiet back street right in the centre of Bordeaux is ideal.

This particular hotel La Tour Intendance checked all of the boxes for me. In an ancient building, 9 min walk from the train station (from airport) and located in the heart of the old section of downtown bordeaux. And it was reasonable. It was perfect.

Staff was very friendly and helpful. Very clean. Lovely little hotel. Disappointed in the breakfast- would not recommend buying it. Otherwise I real gem in Bordeaux!

I was in Bordeaux for 2 nights with my 15 year old son and picked the hotel for its location. This hotel is all about its charm and character - rooms set in beautiful old stone buildings, with features such as the bathroom built out in naturally finished wood. It’s a far cry from the modern, stereotype square block 3 star hotel but we loved it. The location was fantastic and the rooms just oozed charm and character.

The hotel was very cute, beautiful old feel, however there was some kind of strange plasticy sheet under our bed sheet which made us very hot and uncomfortable, the bed was also a small double, overall didn’t sleep great. We didn’t eat the breakfast, however it looked nice when we walked past

Great location to visit heart of Bordeaux

We have been here 3 times and this time it felt not too great No phone in room Lift broken Safe too small Towel too small and thin No lotion etc No fridge - What I would expect . Maybe Good location -

Perfect central and very nice location. Quiet street. The room was very clean and very comfortable. Love the classic interior. I would definitely go back.

Location & price

I liked the olde worlde ambience of this hotel. A great location within walking distance of Aerport tram and major Bordeaux attractions plenty of cafes and bars nearby. The bed was very clean and comfortable. The water was hot and strong. A window opens onto the laneway for a cooling breeze. But these rooms are small as advised. En-suite shower and toilet are very small. The shower head does not hang up by it self so 1 handed showers are a bit cumbersome and plenty of water sprays out of the shower. Ventilation is in situ but an extra fan may be an improvement. Great value for money and there is an elevator for guest use.

Charming hotel in a central, convenient location. Beautifully appointed room overlooking a quiet side street. Close to cafes and shops. Tram stop close by. Easy to get to the hotel by tram from the airport. Delightful neighborhood. Staff were friendly and checking in was a breeze. Would definitely stay here again.

Was able to check in early with complimentary upgrade. Most comfy bed in spacious rm & bathroom. Room was quiet. Lots of natural light. Ideal location on pedestrian street-lots of cafes, restaurants, bars, shopping. I’d stay here again. Great, helpful staff.

Most aspects of the stay were adequate, though there were a few disappointments: we found long hairs throughout the room, my partner found black mould in the bathroom, several lights didn’t work, and the shower head was had to affix to the wall. It’s a heritage hotel so the small spaces and lack of polish is to be expected and is reflected in the price. But it did unfortunately fall a tad short of our expectations. On the positive side, the reception was friendly and the area is very nice and quiet. It’s definitely an unbeatable location on just about every measure. With some more love and care I’m sure these minor faults could be rectified.

Staff was very helpful. Hotel was in walkung distance of various shopping stores and multiple restaurants. Historical attractions alao within walkung distance. Only bad thing was no refrigerator in room

Location is amazing, but hotel definitely needs renovation. Rooms are tiny, mirror has been cracked, shower door has been broken. Wouldn’t stay again
