I’m pretty sure they turn off the A/C at night. We thought ours broke at 1am. They came eventually to look at the thermostat and when we requested a new room they needed a second opinion. That guy who came in gave my husband attitude as he only saw me on the room and said that he wasn’t registered because his ID isn’t at the front desk. My husband had to work all day and only came back with me after dinner. Also when they checked me in they forgot to give me the waiver that states if you have another person in your room. I know that because they gave it to me to sign when I checked out. The second room the A/C also mysteriously stopped working so we had to sleep with the windows open which was fine until the sun came up. Missed the breakfast buffet so can’t say much about that. Honestly wish I could get my money back. Couldn’t pay me to stay there again.

The staff, the restaurant, the food were excellent. Very close to nice shops.

Nice hotel close to the beach and to the centre of the nice Loano village

Very rude barman and other certain staff made us feel unwelcome during stay. Even to get a drink in the evening was made difficult as apparently there is no bar service between 8 & 10pm (when it suited them). Advertised as having a private beach but you have to pay nearly €40 per day to use. Very nice Reception Manager apologised and offered complimentary food voucher but wasn't the point of our complaint. If like us you save all year so your family can enjoy a holiday abroad then I wouldn't recommend giving your money to this hotel. Room was extra small for a family of 3 but was very clean and well kept with lovely cleaning staff. Oh...and €15 a day for parking is another profit maker for them. Tried to overcharge me twice on checkout. Stayed at much nicer 3* hotels so dismayed this is 4*.

The hotel was lovely and we enjoyed our stay. Unfortunately the floor seemed like it had not been vacuumed and there was still rubbish from the previous people, sad as we had a nice time there. Great location but unfortunately for us the pool was unavailable due to it being painted and it cost 25 euro to sit on the beach with a fair each and an umbrella

The hotel has probably seen better days and could use a refresher. The room was quite big with a balcony accessible from the bathroom (which seems a bit odd...). The beds were ok while not great. As usual, there are no real big beds but rather two twins pushed together. The room was clean but again, a bit dated, as was the hotel. The breakfast was rather on the frugal side. While there was quite some choice, somehow it just wasn't that appealing. They sure tried their best, having a real honeycomb from where the honey dripped, but the long black hair strung across the comb could have been taken off by a staff member. We didn't use the pool nor the hotel beach (for which you have to pay extra). The staff was very nice and helpful. We found the kids room quite cool, something quite common for Italian hotel it seems.

We stayed at the Loano Hotel Garden Lido for 10 nights in late July/early August. And we loved everything about the hotel. The place was spotless. The staff were efficient, helpful, and warm. The breakfasts were amazing. The location is perfect -- right across from the beach and at the eastern side of the old town, which is also the shopping area. I can't think of anything negative to say about the place. We had a wonderful time there.

I stayed at this hotel 2 nights. The positive aspect is the location right in the seafront, with walking access to the beach and to the shopping area. However, this is an average hotel in need of serious refurbishment. The rooms are small, we found cracks in the shower and the furniture is seriously dated. The breakfast is of poor quality and all products are pre-packed.

The facilities of the hotel may be the high point of your stay. Although a little dated, the hotel boasts a pool and sunbeds in the garden which are free to use. There are bikes you can borrow which are great to explore the marina and also the beach. Also the breakfast is nice and catered for all sorts of dietary requirements. Overall we had a lovely stay and enjoyed ourselves greatly.

First the positives: I had a nice single room with a balcony. The view from the balcony was really beautiful. The breakfast buffet was good as well. However, on the negative side, the walls were thin and I could hear the people next door. The hotel has a private beach, but access is not included in the room price. You need to pay additionally for accessing the beach. The least they could do is offer free access to the guests. Also, the hotel description say free parking but I was charged EUR 15 for parking. And the wifi was not working properly on the day.

Camera spaziosa e pulita. Bagno funzionale con asciugacapelli molto potente e lo specchio bellissimo. L'unica nota è il condizionatore che punta direttamente sul letto. Un suggerimento applicazione direttamente delle prese USB.

Unser Zimmer wurde einmal nicht gemacht. Sprache nur italienisch oder englisch. Nach 23.00 Uhr keine Möglichkeit an der Bar etwas zu trinken.

Ottimo hotel, fronte mare, con servizi impeccabili. Un vero 4 stelle
