Problems with check-in. We arrived around 7:00 PM, but the reception was closed, and the nearest open reception is 5 km away. After many phone calls, we finally got a check-in link, but it took more than 2 hours before we could enter our room. We were stuck outside trying to check in, pay the deposit, and the tourist tax — very frustrating. you also have to take out the trash when checking out. If you're looking for a cleaning staff position in Barcelona - it seems a perfect place for you!

Big PROBLEMS with check-in. We arrived after 19:00 and the reception was CLOSED (they open at 23:00). The nearest open reception is 5 km away. After many phone calls, we were finally given a link to complete the check-in — which also wasnt easy. It took us about 2.5 hours before we could enter our room. We were literally standing outside the building trying to check in, pay the tourist tax, and pay the deposit, which was also problematic. guests have to take out their own trash when checking out. I’m just glad they didn’t also ask me to clean the staircase and wash the bed linens!

Everything was just okay. Everything was close by. Public transportation, attractions were easy to get to. Great customer service. The only thing I would like them to consider is changing the beds! The bed/mattress were super uncomfortable. Mattresses were cheap and super old and dirty under the clean sheets

I had a wonderful stay at Apart Hotel República. The apartment was spacious, clean, and well-equipped with everything I needed. The staff were friendly and helpful, and the location was perfect—central yet quiet. With great amenities, it offered both comfort and convenience. Highly recommend for anyone visiting Barcelona.

We were very disappointed with this stay. The check in experience was a true nightmare. Staff was very rude, and apparently we had to go to another location almkat 30 minutes away to do the check in. The apartment was not the cleanest one. They charge you extra for fresh towels, and they expect you to take out the trash yourself otherwise they will charge you for this also. I would not recommebd anybody to stay here.

I would not call this a hotel. There are no towel changes, nor sheets. 4 people had to share same towels for 1 week. The trash from the room had to be removed and walked across the street after check out, failure to do so, would result in a deposit charge, because apparently cleaning person doesn't take trash out. The hotel is close to the ocean, which is what we were looking for. The pool idea is cool, but tiny.

Property was clean and well maintained. Staff was very courteous and responsive.

Decent location. Checking in was quite difficult. Only provide one towel per person, there is a washing machine but you need to buy your own washing machine tablets. You’re on a limited hot water meter. One pillow per person.

The room was beautiful! Our family of 4 felt very comfortable there.

It is not a bad location: it is about 3 minutes to the subway station and 10 minutes to get to the beach. That's about all the advantages of this hotel. Much more about disadvantages: most idiotic self-check-in procedure I've ever met (you have to pass it in another hotel in another part of the city), you must read intently the hotel's conditions not to be extra charged, a combination of iron furniture + cement floor will give you unforgettable squeaking sounds, window in the toilet that allows everyone to admire your profile sitting on the toilet, bloody cold floor, etc. So if you have a chance, look for another hotel.
