Friendly staff, very helpful

We give this place 2 stars because the people who work there are great. Everything else was disappointing. Sauna was broken, tiles in the floors in the bedroom were dirty, tiles in the bathroom stained, walls in terrible condition, bed was hard. Thant being said - the location is great as the hotel is a half an hour off of the beach.

I was only one night to take a look the city La Paloma.

UY Proa Sur Hotel is probbly the best hotel in La Paloma. Things to improve: I understand winter is around the corner but the property was full of guest and it needed a good clean up. Things to highlight: Best location in town, amazing views, modern and well furnished property, but above all the staff was very firendly and professional. I would like to commend the front desk agent guy in the afternoon shift. I will return!

Very good hotel. Excellent location. Super friendly staff. Good breakfast. The room OK, bed and bathroom correct. The walls had a lot of cracks in the paint and that looked ugly/unkempt. Everything else was super good, I recommend and would return!

Property is very close to the lighthouse, beaches, restaurants, in the center of La Paloma. The staff tested us very well.

I would not stay here again unless there were no other choices. the staff was very nice but this not a well funded property. breakfast was of poor quality and most of furniture was old and torn.

The hotel is old and run down. We had a non smoking room our neighbors were smoking. The smell was in our room and the hallway. Room floor was dirty , blankets in closet were disgusting . Our bedding on the bed was clean. Our sons bed was not set up. The brought up a nasty mattress for him with a filthy pillow. Clean sheets to go on top. Bathroom is small and shower tiles were nasty. Breakfast is subpar. The pool is so small it is more like a hot tub. Front desk check in was okay the person was welcoming.

It wasn't the peak season and can only assume that it would be fully booked as its one of the better hotels in the area. Considering La Paloma is a tiny summer beach town you can't expect the lavish amenities of hotels like in Punta Del Este, however for the purpose of the visit it more than sufficed.

Good hotel according to the touristic facilities of the city and compatible to other hotels in town. Good stay there. the city s not large, you can walk the main street from the hotel, and also walk to the beaches nearby.

The room was well appointed and spacious. The bathroom seemed to have some age. The Internet was quite strikingly fast. The room had a lovely view. The hotel was fine, however we didn't spend much time at the hotel.
