We had an amazing time at the Atta Terrace. The people, food, massage, and nature around us was exactly what we needed for a much needed vacation.

Our honeymoon took us across Japan to this serene oasis in Okinawa. From the moment we arrived, the service was impeccable and the staff so welcoming. Breathtaking views from every part of the hotel and our room was spacious and luxurious. Things not to miss: start the day with a yoga class overlooking the sea, book a beach cabana, enjoy the evening drinks (there is sometimes brilliant live music too), the buckwheat galette for breakfast, and the green vegetable curry for lunch. Thank you to the wonderful staff who made our stay so special.

Beautiful resort in a very serene environment. Throughout the entire stay day and night, the loudest sound was from the birds and small animals making sounds in the surrounding jungle, it was a very peaceful environment to get away from some of the busier areas including some of the busier beach resorts. The staff was very accommodating and seemed to be everywhere and always available with anything that you could need.

We booked Atta as it looked like the kind of place that prides itself on its food, where we could retreat to for a relaxed end to our Japan visit. The positives: Lovely room with incredible views (top floor) Peaceful setting & pool area Staff are wonderful & kind Amazing shower water pressure Nice breakfast Free soft drinks throughout the day and free fun drinks at cocktail hour, with nibbles - that was a nice touch The negatives: The place felt souless and westernized, largely due to the terrible menu on offer - lunchtime your typical options are a bland curry or margarita pizza, burger and chips, spaghetti with tomato sauce, a small and sad caprese salad. My partner decided to go hungry all day in favour of conceding to the horrible westernized menu on offer. The same can pretty much be said for the room service menu. So disappointing. We didn’t bother with fine dining as the lunch indicated it wouldn’t be worth the price. Walked an hour into the sparse area of Onna to get a japenese bbq, which was great, but note we could not get a taxi back as the GO app has nothing in range. The second night we dined at the beef and beer place at the bottom of the hill, to save the trek. No gym. Damp mould smell in the ladies toilets and the elevator, due to air con needing refreshing. They wanted to charge us an extra 9k jpy (£48) to check out 1hr later, after spending nearly £1400 on 3 nights and when the hotel was almost empty!! A nice property, but really lacking in food & vibe

The Atta Terrace is a fantastic property that has superb views and facilities. The butler service will go out of their way to help you with any requests. I had a couple of issues, mostly down to translation issues as I don’t speak Japanese but they were sorted extremely promptly. One point of note is that the Fine Dining restaurant requires a shirt and as I’d been travelling for 8 weeks I didn’t have one so couldn’t dine in the restaurant. However they have a shuttle service to a sister hotel that has plenty of fantastic restaurants so you’ll never go hungry. The free shuttle service to Naha (Naha Terrace Hotel) is fantastic and one of the main reasons I booked the hotel. I wasn’t disappointed. The only downside is the WiFi is fairly poor, the signal is better in the North Tower but still not great.

The room was huge and had a wonderful view of the ocean. Great for a nightly drink at sunset. Service was unmatched! Amenities were plentiful. The best part are the beach chairs. You feel like you are on a private beach with table side service. Would highly recommend. Language barrier is a little tough, but everyone is so kind that it doesn't affect anything.

The most attentive, kind and efficient staff in a magical place. Delicious food, amazing view, stunning attention to details -- best place I've ever been to. Quiet and set in the jungle with a golf course nearby and a Sento with a view. Massage, cocktails... Just perfect.

This is definitely one's choice if serenity is a priority. No kids will be entertained and that is why the whole resort is so quiet. Staff are nice and helpful. It may be a bit far from Onna downtown but still accessible by driving from there for less than 30. Generally a great resort and money worths.

I was stayed at the Busana Terrace Club last year which I choose their sister hotel Atta Terrace hotel this year. To be honestly I will prefer Busana Terrace Club hotel more because we are not playing golf at all. Overall the hotel (in room) is quite similar as Busana Terrace Club but a bit smaller. Their View is perfect but in-room Wifi is weak. Staff are nice even though their English is not so good. Location is quiet as up on the hill.

The hotel was absolutely beautiful and the service was impeccable. It is a little remote and is probably best for a romantic getaway, but their sister resort, Busena Terrace offered a little more activity, so best of both worlds!

It is so nice to have a nice hotel uphill near Onna, Okinawa. My wife played her first on green golf with me. We both enjoyed the holidays here.
