Beautiful. Very welcoming . Great staff. I felt at home. Homemade chocolate chip cookies and lemon water waiting in room, Quiet, windows open. Couldn’t ask for anything more. Stay here!!! It is amazing and historical. Painted ceilings and tooled leather in dining area. I thought it was wall paper until I asked. Beautiful! Great staff. Very welcoming and accommodating!

The property was historically beautiful and very unique and interesting. Rooms were very comfortable and provided all that you need. A couple of simple things - we are coke drinkers but that was not an option and the full breakfast was delicious but minimal and options not explained. Overall a great stay and will stay again!

Loved every feature of this historic inn. Our room was exquisite, well appointed and immaculate. The breakfast was beyond delicious. Do yourself a favor and watch The Spirit Of Christmas before visiting. The movie was filmed at the inn ! We will definitely return. Carl and Susan

This inn was built as a private residence in 1861 & still maintains slot of Victorian charm. If you are looking for a place with all the modern amenities, this is not the place for you. Great location! Tammy was absolutely wonderful!

Very old historic mansion with a lot of character and charm. This place isn't pristine, but if you like beautiful architecture and history, you can overlook some of the flaws. Staff is very friendly and accomodating, and location is convenient to Patriots Place, while feeling like you are in a very rural location.

So much better than staying at a standard hotel. Breakfast was amazing. The outside of the house needs some work but once inside it is perfect.

Pros: Unique historic home, lovely sitting areas in nooks around the house, beautifully furnished rooms. Staff were friendly and helpful, breakfast was simple but delicious. Bed was very comfortable. Cons: Rooms can't be locked unless you are inside, door from our room to the next room had a sliding lock on the other side but not on our side -- luckily no one was in that room.

We stayed at Proctor Mansion Inn overnight after a family wedding nearby. The staff was warm, welcoming and very informative. We actually had the house to ourselves being the only guests that night! The Inn was neglected by a former owner and renovations are lovingly and carefully being done by current owner. Despite the needed restorations, the property is being preserved as it is one of 7 remaining buildings of its kind in the US. If you have the opportunity to visit, I recommend doing so. We enjoyed our brief stay and appreciated learning about the house and meeting the caretakers who are all very invested in the property.

We found this gem of an inn while looking for a place to stay near Gillette Stadium for a NE Patriots game. We paid hundreds of dollars less to stay at the Proctor than we would have paid at Patriots Place. The Renaissance Hotel there charges about $500 a night when the Patriots are playing!! The Proctor Manor In is only about 4 miles from Gillette Stadium. We were able to Uber round trip from the Inn to Gillette pretty easily. Much easier - and less stressful than dealing w/the expense, time and traffic you face in driving your car to a Pats’ game! Beyond the sheer convenience of getting to and from the game, the Inn itself is awesome. It’s a beautiful, (mostly) restores historic home. The room we had was beautiful. We were on the 3rd (top) floor, but had it all to ourselves. Very quaint and private. Breakfast was very good both mornings we were there. The staff was very knowledgeable and friendly. We would highly recommend this Inn!!
