What a great stay. Excellent location with a great view. Friendly & helpful staff. Dining room with a great view, and an excellent menu

The staff was friendly, the place was spotless, and the view from the room was breathtaking. The small village had true Italian charm—amazing gelato, warm and welcoming people, and lively morning markets that made the whole experience feel like an authentic, delightful slice of northern Italy.

Fabulous location and lovely views over the lake. Unfortunately the dining room was closed for it stay. Would still highly recommend it.

I’m sure the town is lovely in the high season but everywhere was closed during our stay. The hotel were very friendly and accommodating. The communication was excellent

This is as it promise an annassuming hotel right on the water, room is very spacious nothing special but amazing view of the lake with balcony, easy to come in check in hotel has a resturant as well we did not try.

It was a beautiful day it italy in a small town on a beautiful lake. Room was clean and breakfast was great. Price was right too.

The Alberto del Sole was a nice one-night stopping point for us on Lago Maggiore. The lakefront position and proximity to little shops and the market was great, breakfast very good but the room was not very clean and the room Itself quite basic. A pleasant stay, but a premium price for location left me feeling that a b&b in the hills may have been better.

very friendly staff and helpful. small town but charming and has obviously a port which was nice to get on the boats to tour the lake.

Zimmer bzw. Dusc

Habe mit Portovaltravaglia einen neuen Ort entdeckt. Hübsch, klein, ruhig, ein paar Läden, eine gute Pasticceria, und das Hotel hat mir sehr gut gefallen. Schönes Zimmer und nettes Personal. Für einen kurzen Aufenthalt geeignet. Mit dem Zug gut erreichbar!

Jättefint läge och trevlig personal. Frukosten var inte så god.

Das Frühstück war nicht wirklich groß, aber alle waren sehr lieb und haben sich gekümmert, wenn man etwas braucht. 10€ für einen 5kg Hund fand ich dann doch etwas übertrieben.

Zimmer wurden jeden Tag gereinigt. Beim Balkon hätte man öfters mal die Spinnennetze entfernen sollen. Rundum war alles aber in Ordnung.
