Host was really nice. Get a parking permit for a car park about 12 mins walk away. Not so great as a single person as I had to pay to park first and then drag my case down, but no fault of guesthouse there! Room was nice enough. Good location, very close to seafront and short walk to the town centre. Fan in room.

neil and jacqueline the owners of gleneagles weymouth where very friendly neil showed me to the room which was room 4 it was a small room which i had booked rated has a single room but i was amazed that when i got there i had a double bed in it . the bed was one of the best had a very good nights sleep the room allso had a hair dryer and allso a fan for when its hot . i didnt see the owners during my stay but did see jacqueline when i was going to hand keys back one thing i hated about gleneagles you had to make sure you took your glasses out with you has every time you come back you had to enter a code to get into your room. where other hotels you have a key to get into the room however it was a lovery place to stay so i would give the owners 100% out of 100% i didnt have the breakfast there so cant comment on that but would i stay again yes i would the rooms was cleaned to high standards. thankyou so much neil and jacqueline for letting me stay. i hope you like the review

Had a wonderful time here. Really helpful friendly host. Nice electric shower with plenty of warm water each day. TV and tea/coffee making facilities together. Had the first floor which gave a nice outlook over the street. I walked into Weymouth centre each day. Just a street away is a beach. There is a handy corner shop further up on the street. Was quiet the majority of the time so I thankfully got some sleep. Would definitely stay again!

Friendly welcome on arrival. Property a little worn, which would suggest regular use due to low price, but clean & comfortable. Nice.

Shops nearby. Situated very close to the beach front and town centre. Neil is one of the finest hosts you could meet and very helpful.

Convivial host, comfortable warm room, efficient shower in the en suite, very satisfactory over all.

2nd stay. Only 50 feet from beech and the Esplanade with bus stops etc and the shops

Great communication with the owner, not so with hotels com. 2 streets away from the beach. Very quiet area. No parking outside but free parking 5 minutes walk away.

Owners lovely. Single room at top of house. Small room. Shower/toilet ok, although could do with somethings being replaced as rusty, & shower hose could do with a good descale & shower head needs descaling, Small shower cubicle but ok. Bed a little bouncy but ok. Good location, near train station & town centre. Nice to have kettle in room.
