A wonder boutique room. Our host Riccardo was very helpful, and available to answer our questions. Very clean and safe. Very well located in Rome. We highly recommend this hotel.

This was our third stay in Albergo San Lorenzo on our annual one month visit to Italy. On the way back home we like to visit the truffle fair in Alba on our way to Malpensa Airport in Milan. For the price this is an excellent location as they are one of the few hotels center town within walking distance to the fair that have parking. Rooms are basic but clean and comfortable and the breakfast is quite nice.

The room price included free parking as per Expedia and the property Google listing. This is why I chose this hotel. Upon arrival they told us that there were no parking available as they set up an outdoor terrace in place of the parking spot. They said we could use the staff parking but wanted an extra €20. Very greedy owner and not worth the price paid for. The listing still showed free parking and they had a sign in the room showing parking code but they refused to provide free parking. Expedia or the hotel provided zero compensation for false advertising. Had I known I would have booked elsewhere for a better price. Room was very average and dated and it was very noisy.

We had a wonderful night in Alba at Alberto San Lorenzo. The staff was friendly and helpful. The room was comfortable and clean. It’s central location was perfect for exploring the beautiful city. We will be back for sure!

The hotel is well situated next to the Duomo of Alba and the place is clean, these were the two best things about it. Unfortunately the hotel is very noisy, the rooms are not soundproofed in any way and the whole place echoes like a church. You can hear every step, and move of other hotel guests to the room like you can hear when other guests are having a shower or use the toilet. Not only this but the Duomo next door will start ringing its bells at 7.45am and 8am and so on... Another big fault was that there was no internet connection in the room, no signal whatsoever. Maybe some other rooms get signal closer to the reception but the room where we were staying at the end of the corridor had none. Besides this the bed was rather uncomfortable and there was a strong, unpleasant smell of detergent lingering everywhere in the hotel.The place felt unloved and it lacked attention to details. Overall it was unfortunately not a very nice experience, especially since we had high hopes after reading positive reviews of the place.

Location is nice. Room is clean. Offers a 10% coupon to the Albamare restaurant just beside it, it was really nice

Duas pessoas a mais e um olhar empreendedor faria a diferença …. Sara foi uma querida e tentou dar o melhor para nossa estadia …

A nice little hotel, with a marvelous location, right in the city centre. Parking in the yard and lovely staff. Only one in the staff speak English but we had no problems with making ourselves understood

The breakfast was typicly Italian: Sweet, sweet, sweet. I missed some nice, fresh bread. And some vegetables as tomatoes, cucumber, pepper and a cheese (not smoked). I also missed some müsli - chocholate or other sweet morning flakes . no thank you. Mostly everything was in plastic! No no no... But staff was excellent, room ok, free parking + in the citycenter = 7/10 points :)
