A very classic well maintained centuries old property with an ideal location and a variety of rooms. Quiet neighbourhood. Pleasant courtyard. Friendly and helpful staff. Will stay here again if back in Puebla.

Beautifully maintained colonial mansion four blocks from the zócalo for a very good price. Pleasant attentive staff.

The hotel's location made up for the dampness and cold of the room, the lack of hot water (followed the instructions and after more than 7 minutes, the hot water never came) and the awkward professionalism of the staff (particularly the evening staff, not the overnight). But, location was key for me and after all of that, I might just stay here again - maybe!

Hotel loading/parking zone by entrance was always occupied by local Parker’s, not hotel guests. Bedding was clean, but could stand upgrading.

Enchanting hotel in great location. A hotel with true character instead of some chain replica. Staff was extremely helpful and polite.

Beautiful historic building in the heart of the city. This is not a typical hotel, but more like a bed and breakfast offering a unique experience. Walking distance to all historic sites in the city.

I don't need Spa massage and golf course. Just around the corner from the Zocalo. Very close to history and culture. Quiet clean and Comfortable. We walked everywhere in Center. Always felt safe. Would return

Great location in Puebla Centro. The room we stayed had a previous leak, either poorly repaired or not at all and the room had a moldy/musty smell. The staff were not friendly.

perfect location for a getaway in the beautiful city of Puebla. The location is right in the center of the city nearby all the main attractions. There were also easy getaways to the neighboring towns.

Hotel is quant and charming, but feels in need of updates. The noise from the courtyard is easily heard inside the rooms and the shower was a bit lacking. Both the other hand, the hotel is in a historic area and has lots of charm. Bed was hard but the wifi was good. For the price, it's not bad, but not perfect either.

We chose this hotel based on a very positive description in the Lonely Planet as well as a reasonable price. The hotel seemed to have changed from that description. The furnishings in the room were tired and the internet was frustrating to use in the common areas. The most serious complaint was the lack of hot water for a shower. Only after numerous complaints did the situation become resolved on the second day of the stay, only to be repeated again on the third day. We could not recommend this hotel.
