Facilities would be improved if there was communal areas to to use rather than just the use of a bedroom.

Setting up parking passes was easy. Self check in nice and clear. Room was clean and quiet. No complaints!

Had a fabulous stay at Argyl House. Bill was friendly and helpful and sorted my parking when I arrived.

Excellent location lovely accommodation, met by the owner on arrival who explained everything to us parking permit to use while we were there 👍 Only point was we could’ve done with some blackout curtains as we were in the attic with the sunshine in there at 6 o’clock in the morning but can say it didn’t spoil our stay and would highly recommend it 👍

Clean rooms, everything worked, good facilities and excellent value for money

Shower wasn't great. The bed posts were at my knee height so I kept knocking against them. Instructions were good and information about parking.

Our stay at Argyle House in late September this year was good. Bill, and his son, were very friendly and helpful. The room, on the first floor, is a good size, quirkily decorated ( rather gothic), well furnished, bedding good, and clean. Bathroom quite small , with a good shower etc. Located high up on the West Cliff side a few minutes walk from the Cook Memorial and 10 minutes walk down to the harbour and town centre. There is on street parking only ( a local parking permit is provided) ; if you are lucky to find a spot nearby leave the car there and walk everywhere if you can. There is no breakfast provision although there are a couple of good nearby cafes. Restaurant eateries are a bit further away.

Room was lovely and clean, got a car parking permit so managed to park outside. Very convenient and close to everything.
