Great location. Clean room!

Generally speaking is a very nice hotel. I’ve been there many times. This year noticed the breakfast (which was included) was not the same. Less to offer with less selections. Also, for the first time they charged me €16/night for parking. They told me had you booked the stay through them the parking would be free. But because I booked through Expedia they charged me.

Wonderful staff, super comfortable beds, amazing view!

Room had great views overlooking the sea. Bed was reasonably comfortable.

Great place to stay

Parking was an issue

We had to change the room as the bathroom was smelly; the new room was much better but the bed was rather hard. The breakfast was poor, with limited choice and insufficient seating for all the guests. We booked through hotels.com where free parking was included but the hotel refused to honour it and we had to pay 16 Euros per day. Will not stay here again.

The refurbished rooms are lovely and spacious, sea view is a must, staff are super friendly at both reception and in the restaurant. The evening meals were high class, wasn’t expecting such good food, especially the squid, excellent.

It was an impressive building and in its prime would have been spectacular. It appears they may be upgrading it but it certainly isn’t complete. Shabby in communal areas. Breakfast cold when should be hot. Staff friendly though. Would have been nice to have had a lift to the 5th floor where we were put. Clean room though when we had finally arrived. Maybe in the next couple of years it will have been brought back to the glory it has previously enjoyed

A few disappoints with my stay. The first room offered had a broken air conditioner. Talked to the front desk and acknowledged it had been reported. Offered a new room with air. The shower was tiny and the wall clip for the hand held shower was broken. Showering was challenging. Walls are paper thin and heard even normal speech clearly from room next door. And older wooden floors meant I heard every footstep from room above. But housekeeping and breakfast staff were very friendly and the breakfast quite good and reasonably priced. But all considered I would not stay again.

1st family room terrible: broken furniture, tiny tv, old n dated. Asked for a better room (was a queue behind me) gave us 2 keys. 2nd room newly refurbed, modern but window blocked by scaffolding. 3rd room, the same. asked is this the best you have? Offered 4th attic room, only problem is you have to take lift to 4th floor then walk up the emergency fire escape stairs, 2 flights! I have arthritis, a knee replacement and cant walk up stairs. Sigh The room was really good with great front seaviews. So agreed to move (having a great room for a week was more important than a lift to the floor). Not IDEAL! Room was large, double bed, futon bed, single bed, table/chairs for 2. 2nd room with a double bed. Table/chairs for 2. Modern, light, airy and really nice. Small fridge, good sized tv. Sea view from two chest high windows. Bathroom OK but shower was basic and being so high had weak water pressure. But did the job. Made the mistake of booking half board. Never again. Food was atrocious. Every pasta dish was cold. Complained, waitress said it was supposed to be cold! Mixed meat grille = two wafer thin slices of unknown meat, with half boiled potato n gravy. Like a tv meal. Not one meal was satisfactory, at least two of us had a bad dish. Calamari main course= served with lays crisps!! Bottled water only €3. Not bad but 4 of us n we drink a lot of water, €12 just on water every meal without wine. Breakfast ok still chef cant cook, undercooked eggs, bacon, 4*?

Excellent stay in San Remo! Centrally located, spectacular views.

Fair property, breakfast was disappointing. Good parking arrangements and good quiet location.

The hotel is up a hill which makes for nice views but not great for a family with a baby. The hotel is also only half renovated. We were given a room in the floor that hadn’t been renovated and was unacceptable and nothing like what I booked but they kindly changed us to the renovated part which is acceptable. The service at reception seemed a little unfriendly but it was also busy so perhaps just stressed.

We had a double room with a wonderful seeview. The room was spacious,well equipped and maintained. The bathroom was a dream. The staff were friendly and efficient. The breakfast was very good.

Super hotel. Great value for money. Perfect location. Car park very uesful.
