We stopped in relais Picaron for only one-night as part a loop travel of 2 weeks motorride... The place is amazing, the rooms are confortable with nice view of the surrounding landscape and the restaurant is very fine, especially the meat

More pension, than a 4star hotel. Good dining option.

It's hard to find better accommodation in this price range, so I used it for the second time and would gladly use it again in the future. Nicely located facility, inside you can see that it's been used, but I like signs of life as long as they're not too intrusive. Excellent sleeping comfort. I think it would be more elegant if for breakfast, apart from the available sweets and the delivered ham, there were some options for vegetarians.

Be aware the reception is not aoprn all day. Check before setting yourself off to the property.

Nice clean room. Nice view. Bed nice and firm. Room a little stuffy but left the window (no screen) open through the night. Very nice receptionist. Breaki a lil disappointing. Good location, nice neighborhood.

We needed to stay in San Daniele for a single night. My wife's dad grew up here and we had some family things we had to take care of. While we've visited San Daniele, we've never stayed here. Relais Picaron was a perfect fit for us. Easy parking, clean room and easy to get to check in/check out. It was so comfortable, my mother in law over slept her alarm clock! Showers were small but typical for Italy. Would definitely stay here again if we are back in the region

My stay was nice. First room smelled like an ashtray so they moved me to a new room that didn’t. Otherwise it was a nice stay in a beautiful location

Huge free car park, restaurant attached to the hotel, bed felt like clouds!

I enjoyed my stay, only two issues bathroom too small incl shower and little space for travel bag access. Lovely serene location.

Satisfactory hotel for the price paid. Unfortunately we didn't notice there was air conditioning and so suffered the heat in the afternoon, but with the A/C on we had a cooler evening!

Beautiful view and great breakfast every morning. A nice traditional San Daniele feel.

Good spot for a stopover and close place to DOK Prosciutto for tasting. Great restaurant "Flame", downstairs at the hotel too.

Relais Picaron is a lovely hotel on a hill outside San Daniele del Friuli--clean and simple with a nice breakfast and helpful staff. We would happily make a return visit.
