Clean rooms, friendly staff and an amazing breakfast buffet. Clean and beautiful wellness area

Nice location but the hotel is certainly tired and seems that a lot of details are being overlooked. A shame because it really has potentially. With some better cleaning and some investment in the property it will soon be back to what it was.

Serpiano Hotel is located on the top of a mountain; it has a picturesque view of Lake Lugano from its outdoor restaurant. It also has an indoor swimming pool and Jacuzzi. Breakfast and dinners were excellent.

Great views

I visited the hotel with my mum. Despite a rainy day and evening, we enjoyed the stay very much. We had a room with a mountain view that was in reality nicer than on the pictures! The hotel facility comes with large outside area that is taken care of to the last detail. We had a superb dinner and drinks. The reception ladies but also waitress in restaurant are kindly, professional and very helpful. This all made our trip unforgettable.

You need to rent a car to get around. There are no kettles in the room but there is a small fridge. Foxtown is just nearby and so that was the life saver. The views were spectacular. But do be careful driving up as it is narrow and winding.... meant for only one car even thought it is a 2 way road. It is a 3-star hotel so dont expect much.... but for what they did offer, you cant find fault with it. We will stay at this place the next time we head to FoxTown.

Lovely view and very friendly staff. Nice indoor pool. Let down by lack of air con in the rooms, very average breakfast (although dinner is better ). The road to the hotel is also very narrow with sharp turns and so it’s advised not to arrive there at night by car. Check out is a little too early (11am) and the restaurant stops serving hot food after 9pm which is again too early .

Views from the restaurant were amazing, breakfast was excellent, local restaurant is pricey but worth the money. Pool and pool area were lovely Hotel rooms are old, need updating and were extremely warm in the hot weather with no air conditioning

Great spa and restaurant, clean room with amazing view.

The hotel is easy to find, it’s up a long twisty narrow road but if you follow the signs or use sat nav you shouldn’t have any problems. The car park is ample size so I shouldn’t imagine you would ever struggle to park. Check in was straight forward enough and the staff were friendly and welcoming. The Geneva decor of the hotel could do with a update, it’s clean just looks a little dated. The room is fine and good sized and we had a nice view from our balcony. The best feature of the hotel for us was the pool and jacuzzi. The jacuzzi was amazing and so relaxing. The restaurant was good and reasonably priced given the isolated location. I would recommend this hotel for a relaxing getaway.

Well the view was Amazing. The slider to the balcony didn't work very well but the views were truly exceptional. Loved the experience.

This is the second time in two years that I have stayed here. The location is great, the amenities are great, the staff are helpful. This is a great place for a getaway

It is worth programming a stay at this hotel if for no other reason than just the view! It sits on the tippy top of the mountain and overlooks the towns below. Driving up to the hotel is an exciting experience on an extremely narrow road. If you meet another vehicle one of you will need to back up for the other to pass. Insure you follow the directions to get there provided by the hotel. GPS is almost essential. You are so glad you got there you wouldn't think of eating anyplace other than the hotel. I do not know if there is another place. The dining room is a bit pricey for dinner, but not by over a few dollars. Great breakfast. Rooms are fine . Bathroom small. Hotel supprisingly large! Staff great. Has spa facilities. If the drive doesn't scare you then book this hotel. FYI we were driving a large station wagon are are senior seniors.
