Good service

Excellent hotel, the entire hotel smells really nice, the staff were very friendly, the room was very spacious and very clean and we had a very good night sleep.

Room was clean, breakfast exellent with so many choicest, and plenty pakings.

We booked five rooms for eight nights at Hotel Szafran for our group of ten. We were very pleased with the rooms - plenty of space and quite comfortable and clean. Although there wasn't a/c in our rooms, the standing fans helped a lot. The breakfast was fantastic and the staff were kind and helpful. The location was perfect as there was a shopping center next door, and we could easily find supplies for our service project. Every member of our group commented that the hotel was simply perfect for us. We will definitely plan to stay at Hotel Szafran the next time we are in the area.

This hotel and staff were wonderful! There was plenty of free parking and clean environment. The hotel was very convenient to all roads. One of the most amazing things was the breakfast buffet, which was the most extensive variety of choices I've ever seen. Also, the staff was warm and very professional making my stay so much more pleasant.

I enjoyed the stay . Although staff had mistakenly tried answering the room with out knocking. When I brought this up at check I was only given a mediocre apology saying that the staff was mistaken with the room number.

Noisy place

Det var litet torftig med frukosten. Dels för litet utbud (för att vara fyrstjärnigt hotell), dessutom var vissa kött och framför allt grönsaker, som var nästintill uttorkade.

Lovely hotel, clean with a bar and restaurant, great location. Our room was big very clean quiet comfortable bed but pillows were very poor. KFC and Mc donalds are next door to it and a shopping center too.

Clean, well appointed hotel with other amenities within a stones throw like shopping center and fast food outlets.

We got an upgrade from a ver friendly fron desk.

The price of dinner is definitely too high. One has to pay separately for each food item. For example, if I remember correctly, a pork chop alone costs 23 zl., potato wedges 6 zl and salad bar 14 zl. It amounts to 43 zl. compared to the price of 27 zl for the same food eaten at Irena, the restaurant offering Polish cuisine in the most expensive city, Sopot, Poland. The Szafran owner and management has to wake up and make the prices more affordable. Also, my sister was served a half-raw grilled chicken. When I reported it to a waitress, she shrugged her shoulders.

Very nice hotel , room was like an apartment and i had only booked a single room. The downside is you have to take a taxi into the centre as its not walking distance from anywhere . The good news is its cheap to do so . Lovely shopping centre beside hotel with nice places for food or coffee and a little shopping if your just on a short stay with a few hours to spare

It was a beautiful location about 15 minutes outside of Katowice. The staff was very helpful and the rooms were very spacious.

Wonderful staff, excellent restaurant, perfectly clean, and very quiet considering it’s close to the road. A good location to access Sosnowiec, Będzin, and shopping at the new adjacent mall.
