Lounge bar service very limited

Good location and good service

Was a quiet location, check in was easy, staff were friendly. However i ordered bolognese, they brought out spaghetti without the bolognese sauce, once i was done eating they brought out the bolognese sauce with the mince meat.... was quite an odd experience. I didnt know how to feel about my meal. Otherwise the stay was alright, probably the better hotel in yangzhou foreigner friendly.

Staff not available or when have questions getting answers always I don’t know. Not recommend to family and friends.

Overall I enjoyed my stay. There were some events during the holiday season, and the restaurant was having a long line, but the food was great. There's a small garden at the back that you can take a short walk, which is really nice.

Over my few weeks in China, this was without a doubt my favourite hotel. I had a great view. The staff were truly professional. They happily extended my checkout a couple of hours at no cost to suit my travel plans. I will go out of my way to stay here in future.

I was misleading with the previous review in this Shangri La, the reception staff was bad, I booked and paid for a room with lake view requested higher floor, but it end up the room was on the 9th floor. In China, all 5 stars hotels are strictly nonsmoking, but we found everywhere in the main lobby, the lift lobby and even inside the lift are with cigarette end?? I would never ever suggested anyone to choose for this hotel. I would never go again, I rather even prefer to stay at the Ramadan, Yangzhou.

This is a beautiful property offered at a great value. Excellent and quiet location. Two minor observations: 1) Please check that all room electrical outlets are functional, and, better, equip them for international plugs as well. 2) The breakfast buffet is nice but dishes are often cold because they are not properly covered (lid). In any case, I will gladly return to the Shangri-La on my next visit to the very pleasant city of Yangzhou, Jiangsu.

Very fine hotel ! However it is not close to anything. Not even small convenience store in walking distance.

Stayed there 1 night only due to my customer has requested. The location is quite distance from main station that we plan to go. Room is big and comfortable but don't have any surprise and memorable feeling on this stay. Just like stay in any international chain hotel.

The hotel is very nice and comfortable. The best thing was the dinner buffet!

Staff at the hotel were good. Particularly the duty manager. Only negative was that even a non smoking room still smells of smoke a little! (I've come to expect this in China, but I generally find it revolting)

Actually it's a bad experience. During peak hour, it's about half hour to downtown. Hotel service is very rude, besides room is very small, even its already a luxury room. Never come back again.

Stayed there for business. There is no reason to be in that city except for business and I believe it to be best hotel in town. Service is so good it is almost obnoxious

Awesome hotel with superb conditions. Just that there is nothing much in the vicinity.

Very comfortable with good facilities especially the swimming pool, it was open 6 - 10 which meant I could still swim after returning from a busy work schedule and before heading off the next morning.
