It was our first time visiting Venice (2 nights stay), and this hotel was a recognized name/brand with a more reasonable price compared to same brand/group within the main Venice island, understandably the location is a bit out of the way. We decided to stay here, and it was a right decision for us. As it turns out, the hotel is so easy to get in and out to the city center in Venice. And the hotel is located right on the vaporetti stop in Murano. It is very quiet in the evening compared to the San Marco area, and for us it is actually good to get away from the hassle after spending the day surrounded by so many crowds in the main city area. It is a great retreat for the evening. Breakfast is wonderful. Staffs are generally nice and helpful. I would definitely stay here again. The hotel provided some free shuttle, but we are glad we got our vaporetti pass, as the free shuttle is limited in terms of availability and timing. The only reason I'm knocking off a point in my review is due to the hotel policy not providing complimentary bottled water after the first night. Even though the hotel staff eventually provided it to us, but it was not without some arguments. Had they been gladly providing it when we first asked, we would have given full ratings on everything. Again the hotel is in a very quiet location, no nearby stores open), and they provided it for a 4eur/bottle otherwise, which I find it to be unfriendly standard compared to other Accor hotels/similar big brand hotels in other parts of the world.
