If you're in the area, I cannot recommend Conchal enough. It's a gorgeous little boutique hotel with a small number of rooms, which makes the experience feel less cookie-cutter. The staff are incredible, & the space itself looks exactly like the pictures - full of greenery & wildlife, & the pool is perfect. Things to note if you plan on staying here: - It's not a luxury hotel, but the staff will give you luxury hotel service. - The hotel itself is right off a main road, so you WILL hear traffic at all times of the day - The hotel is about a 15-18 minute walk to Playa Conchal, which is the beach you'd want to spend the day at. However, the closest beach is only about 5 minutes away, & it is perfect for sunset. - I would recommend this hotel as a home base, filling your days with different excursions/outings. - The restaurant is lovely - lots of yummy options. However, if you opt in for the hotel breakfast, it does not include the full restaurant menu, but 3 different options and a fruit plate to go with them all. Similarly, they have a few cereals out during breakfast time. - You're about a 10 min taxi away from Playa Flamingo - Lots of yummy restaurants within walking distance - If you can, I'd recommend asking for a room not underneath the restaurant to avoid noise above you when they close/open the restaurant With all that in mind, I would absolutely return to this hotel.

Lo primero es que no se guien por las fotos. El area del comedor super caliente, la piscina sucia, el cuarto huele a humedad, la ducha le saltaba el agua por todos los la dos, el cuarto tenia un colchon en el suelo, en otras palabras Terrible.

Loved my stay

The staff and the whole vibe were like having a wonderful family setting around you. I felt comfortable, safe and had access to great services. The food was exceptional as well. Dont' change a thing.

It is the third time I have stayed in that hotel and it’s a very comfortable very nice and really cozy. Small hotel that I genuinely enjoy staying at. I will definitely return in another opportunities as I really enjoy the zone in this hotel is a great alternative to stay there without being overly expensive.

Out stay was amazing. The staff, pool ,room, food, and drinks were all fantastic. We look forward to our stay next year.

Air conditioning is really good, pool is good. Food at restaurant was good as well. Older property but they do their best to keep it clean and they have 24-7 security, and you have other eating options down the street but some location are closed on Sunday. It’s a very local town.

Right on the main road and the windows and walls are super thin. Motorcycles racing up and down the road until 1am. We were under the restaurant and every chair that gets moved you can hear as ifd it's in your room. AC shut off in the middle of the night. The place is extremely loud. We actually left and found a different hotel for our 2nd nights stay! Could hear a baby cry for hours multiple rooms down

kind staff, lovely rooms & pool, classic costa rican hotel

We loved it here! Classic basic Costa Rica hotel-simple and clean. AC was strong. Monkeys and iguanas put in a show for us, and the pool was a gem! Staff was lovely. Easy walk to Playa Conchal, the Indian restaurant (weird, I know) next door was delicious. Recommend for sure.

The room was clean and simple. Airco worked very well and staff is friendly. It was nice to have a good restaurant attached to the hotel. For anyone who is looking for a short stay in Brasilito this is a great option. They even organized a surf lesson for the kids

This is a great little hotel close enough to walk to the beach. Nice, spacious rooms and a good restaurant. I definitely recommend staying here.

The staff and food were excellent. This is not a fancy hotel. Close to the road and simple furnishings but it was clean and surrounded by trees and plants making it a tropical oasis. You can easily walk to a well stocked grocery store on your way to Brasilito beach. To get to Conchal beach you have to walk from Brasilito due to private property that prevents beach access. Beautiful beach.

Clean large room, 20 minute walk to the beach. cute shop across the street, corner store right there. great restaurant upstairs and the pool was amazing. i loved the grounds and the wildlife we saw

Great staff and close to the beach. Nice pool and great food, we had the complimentary breakfast and lunch at the hotel, both were very good. Room was well appointed, nice space for our family of 4

We loved this hotel! The staff was amazing, the food was great, and the rooms were cool and clean. It is a small hotel where we met terrific guests from all over the world.

The food at the restaurant is so delicious! The rooms were clean, staff were so accommodating for an early check in. Really enjoyed our time and would definitely stay again.
