I recently stayed at the Quality Hotel in Drumheller with my son. We paid $356 per night for a room with one queen bed, At that price point, I expected a clean, well-maintained, and more modern property. Unfortunately, that was not our experience. Our stay got off to a poor start when, walking into the hotel, I somehow stepped in a large wad of chewing gum. It transferred from my shoe onto my pants and was so embedded that I had no choice but to throw the pants away. It was an unpleasant first impression. Once we were in our room, I found that the cleanliness was below what I consider acceptable. There was a pubic hair in the bathtub, which I removed myself with a tissue. That immediately raised concerns about how thoroughly the room had been cleaned between guests. Beyond the cleanliness issues, the property itself was very dated. The room appeared worn, neglected, and in need of significant updating. The furnishings and overall condition gave the impression of an older, budget motel rather than a hotel charging premium rates. While the staff were courteous, the overall experience simply did not reflect the price we paid. At $356 per night, I expected a much higher standard of cleanliness, maintenance, comfort, and overall quality. I hope management takes feedback seriously. With improved housekeeping and investment in updating the property, the guest experience could be significantly better. Based on my stay, I do not feel the hotel offers value for the price I paid.

I booked on Expedia and selected the correct date. Expedia website switched to the next week when I made my booking. Both Expedia and Quality Hotels refused a refund even though I stayed at Quality Hotels on the correct day and explained my situation. Expedia said it was up to Quality to decide to refund. Quality Hotels kept my money even though I stayed there. Never again, there is better newer hotels.

Just the bathtub needed to be replaced as the drain wasn’t draining properly. And tv wifi wasn’t working and we weren’t able to relax (watch anything). Overall we had a fun time and would stay again due to the wonderful staff.

Room was pretty clean. Okay stay, but not worth what they are charging during the summer. The housekeeping service was nice. Free breakfast was okay, but options are limited compared to other hotels and the food is cold. Location was nice. Parking was not as great. It was very windy on the 5th floor and was quite loud through the AC and it made the door move, so lots of noise related that. The ice machine didn't work, so we had to go down 2 floors any time we wanted ice. Not a big deal, but a small annoyance. The bathroom was tiny and the door frame was in poor condition. The shower pressure was okay, but didn't spray straight. Bathtub tiny. Depending on the price, we'd come back, but likely stay somewhere else next time. Overall okay stay.

Hotel is old and they are overpriced

Greedy owners would not refund a day that was booked due to a website “glitch” for a wrong date. I even stayed there on the correct date. For $250 much better options, pay a little more even for a good hotel. Smelled and is an old hotel, outdated.

Great breakfast. Bathrooms very small. Showers are not maintained well and need new heads. The overall cleanliness of the bathrooms wasnt great but the room itself was nice. They have air-conditioned rooms and beds were comfortable. Would of given 5 stars if it was cleaner and the showers worked properly.

Location of the hotel, convenience to Drumheller attractions, inclusion of breakfast and the helpfulness of the staff - these were all positives. However, the hotel is a bit dated and could use some updating.

Room was clean, good breakfast, polite staff. I really enjoyed the balcony with chairs and a small table. Also the view was really nice!

A clean, well kept hotel. Bed was comfortable. Breakfast was ok. Typical for hotels that include breakfast. I would stay here again.

Staff were amazing! Only complaint was our room fridge did not work properly, did let staff know and member made sure she wrote that down to check it out 👍.

The room was great and roomy. The bathroom was a little cramped. The hotel is in a great location with a grocery store right beside that is open until 11pm every day!!
