We stayed here for the weekend and were intrigued by the bold “newly renovated” sign out front. After checking in, it became clear the renovation theme was classic 1970s, highlighted by burnt orange carpet — including a permanent stain in our room that appeared to be part of the décor. The room itself was spacious, which was nice, although the advertised queen bed barely accommodated two adults unless personal space isn’t a priority. The elevator was an experience of its own, stopping so abruptly it has a warning sign posted. Be sure to bend your knees accordingly 😬 To round things out, the toilet bubbled on multiple occasions, releasing an unmistakable sewer smell into the room. At over $170 a night, we expected a bit more and were left pretty disappointed. We won’t be staying here again the next time we’re in town.

Room I stayed in was large and well kept, nice kitchenette (fridge only with sink and counter). Free breakfast every morning, great location, walking distance to Freson Bros, Canadian Tire, restaurants. When ever I am in Drumheller, I always stay here.

Overall a decent hotel. Rooms were clean and bed was comfortable. Great location and view. Breakfast was lackluster and ended at 9:30am, but free and fine for a budget Hotel. The internet was unusible for my entire stay. Far too slow to even load most pages let alone stream video. Completely useless for uploading project reports and video. Major disappointment.

This hotel is very clean. The beds are comfortable, the staff is friendly and the amenities are perfect: business room, gym, reading area, and a large breakfast. A good value, and again: very clean!

In summary, the room (220) was large, 1 queen bed. The mattress felt new. The faucets in the shower are old. The water pressure is really good. The carpet in the room is old and we though smelled like smoke, I think was maybe mildew. When you were out of the room for a few hours the smell was clear when you came back. The breakfast is disgusting. 2 piece hot meal of eggs, and sausage. No flavor, no spices, no nothing. Plain. After 2 days it was revolting. The muffins tasted old. The juice machine is old and is partially out of order. This is unacceptable when compared to local hotels in the next parking lot.
