Tlrooms are very basic with dated decor and the breakfast was also very basic

Breakfast options weren't great. No fresh bread and warm food was not appealing. Scrambled eggs awful. Did not replenish vegetables often (cucumber). Salad was brown.

This is not a 4 star hotel. It is a three star at best. The rooms are basic and dated. Some rooms don't have a fridge, the TVs are tiny. The layout of the hotel makes getting to the far rooms like the scene from the movie "The Shining." Redrum. I stayed there for the MotoGP race weekend, and they basically tripled their rate and then cut the "all-inclusive" that is advertised all over the hotel down to a bed and breakfast service. I checked into my room and then went to the restaurant to eat. When I returned to my room, my key didn't work. I went back to the front desk and they told me that they had given me the wrong room, so they had removed my belongings from the original room and put them at the front desk. There was no luggage cart or bell-hop available, so I got to lug my belongings to the new room, which was on the farthest side of hotel, rather than them transferring things themselves after realizing their own error. The location is convenient to the track, but I don't think I'd recommend this place otherwise.

In the middle of vacation it is obviously busy. Most guests are families with kids that creates a noisy and busy atmosphere. For a 4 star hotel a bit "cheap", but for families with kids it must be really nice. With I guess 600-700 guests you feel a bit like cattle, but basic issues like quality of the beds and nice bad/shower/water pressure/airco are nice! Decent breakfast, but again, busy in top summer time, which is expected.

I find it hard to understand that there is not even a small bottle of water in the room for guests.

Very good service and a great place to stay would stay there again

Excellent Hotel with great amenities

Enorm hotel, maar daar eigelijk niets slechts aan gemerkt. Check-in was super snel, alles lag al klaar. Kamer is prima, schoon en compleet. Eten was goed geregeld, ook in lijn met de huidige regels. En het was nog lekker ook. We hebben er ook nog gezwommen.

Lovely hotel. Little annoying they charged me late checkout even though I emailed a couple of weeks ahead to say that I would be arriving a day late and could they do late checkout in place of it (because my Flybe flight was cancelled when they shut down). Water Park is a good addition, although it is more like a swimming pool with added wave pool, sauna etc.

I was surprised by the all the amenities that this hotel had! Several clubs, bowling, kids play area; another area like a jungle gym; an exercise and pool area; spa; at least 4 restaurants and free breakfast buffet - which had SO many choices - including gluten-free breads and options!!! I didn't get to use the pool this time but did bowling and had a lot of fun. They also have a "game room" w/various video type games and whatnot and pool tables and a few other table games like that. I plan to stay this summer if I get the chance to visit my friends in that area again.

Second time staying at this hotel , throughly enjoyed it the comfort and staff are great but i must say the food prices have increased quite considerably.

I just booked as we wanted something close to Assen race circuit and was pleasantly surprised - big hotel with lots of free parking, a nice bar area, decent restaurant and pleasant rooms. Only slight complaint is its a bit far from the centre of Assen but is still walkable. Would certainly return.

Nice hotel in a lovely city , very well looked after!

You can hear doors slamming all the time from all rooms around you (above and below). All the door closer mechanisms need adjusting so didnt really get a good nights sleep.

We stayed here for 2 night's for bsb at Assen , the location was good at night we had a walk into centre which took about 15mins for a meal and drinks , however we were alarmed to see Police at reception Sunday morning as 3 motorcycle had been stolen from carpark and was told the CCTV was not good so we left are bike in front of reception doors
