Stay in alone but asked for 2 single bed resulted i got a big bed & a view of part of the city…Hotel is rather old & numbers of occupants are high especially from Malaysia..I would suggest the owner start to do a renovation to the hotel as my toilet window & WC are broken & fixed by the hotel in a very simple way. But as a single travel I’ve no comment but if bringing in my family it won’t be my 1st choice for hotel to stay.. As Malaysian Registered Hotel Rating Officer your hotel ill will rate as 2 stars going to 1 1/2 star status.

Loved my stay at Aluna Hotel, Ben Thanh Market, Malaysia Street area! Service was superb. They even have halal breakfast—not many choices but good enough for the price. Special thanks to Selena at reception, super friendly and helpful! Other staff also very nice. Will surely come back here if I visit Vietnam again

The air conditioner is not very cool, the toilet system is old.

The best thing about the hotel is its accessibility with everything around. It is located a few walks away from the Ben Thanh market and about 10 minutes away from the Saigon Centre Mall if you want to go to the mall. Halal food is just a step away, and even though the market is just right below, it is quite quiet in our room, so we had a good night's sleep. The hotel also serves halal food buffet, so the breakfast was nice. Hotel staff were friendly and incredibly helpful.

The hotel is convenient for travel, next to Ben Thanh market. From here, it only takes about 10-15 minutes to walk to the Independence Palace and the post office. In general, it is convenient. Each room has a dressing table. The hotel is not very big or beautiful, but for a one-day stay, I think it is ok.

The hotel was situated in the center of Malaysian Street hence it is a strategic place to shops n get halal food in this area. However, the room cleanliness need to be improved especially the bathroom as there's mold everywhere which creates unpleasant smell. Overall, it was an ok stay.

The female staff named Yung was too stiff, I booked for 2 nights but on the second night I couldn't request an extra bed so I had to book another room suddenly at the hotel next door, the breakfast was not varied.

The food is not varied, just fried rice and fried noodles.

for a strategic location, the staff is friendly and very nice. unfortunately the room is not soundproof, so the sound of suitcase wheels or people walking or the sound from the street is very disturbing
