The room was very large and comfortable. I used free parking in the market place, about 200 metres away. I had set dinner in the evenings, which was fine. Nice walking and running alongside the canal.

I really enjoy my stays at Hotel Royal, I visit frequently and their staff are always friendly, the room are always cleaned to a very good standard and the food at the restaurant is very nice.

For the business person it has got everything you need. Great location, very good facilities, a good restaurant called Bottles and breakfast is excellent. Highly recommended.

Room was spotlessly clean, receptionist at check in and check out very nice, excellent wine bar straight across from hotel, pleasant area to walk around on my own.

Hotel is adjacent to main train station and very central. Easy to find and suprisingly easy to park (right next to hotel) and only £5 for overnight!!

We were given an apartment at the third floor. Rather steep and difficult stairs. Apartment was very spacious but slopy roof was making it uncomfortable to move around. Beds were also average. Apartment was about 100 yards away from the hotel and on the first rainy morning we had to wait for an hour to get to the main hotel for breakfast. Breakfast did not have much hot options and was of basic standard. Location is very quite and nice. Cycle renting, the main reason to opt for this hotel was not available. Overall it's an average 3 star hotel with everything at acceptable standard.

The hotel staff was awesome and even helped to carry our luggage. They made changes to our room to accommodate our family and give us more room. We loved this stay.

The service was fantastic and breakfast was great.

I had an apartment with two rooms , chitchen and Living room. Fantastic stay, very quiet and cozy, excellent position in the town, very very good.

Das Hotel verteilt sich auf mehrere Gebäude - sowohl alt als auch neu. Die Zimmer sind sauber und modern eingerichtet. Allerdings Vorsicht bei Übernachtung am Wochenende, wenn ein Zimmer zu nah zur Fußgängerzone bezogen wurde - das Café dort spielt sehr laute Musik (allerdings nur bis Punkt 12 Uhr).

In het centrum van Sas van Gent. Parkeren op loop afstand. Kamer was eveneens op loopafstand in ander gebouw.

Mooi hotel met erg vriendelijk personeel en een prima ontbijt. Kamer was modern, groot en vooral ook schoon. Het enige nadeel is dat de kamer erg gehorig is, je hoort iedereen op de gang en op de bovenverdieping lopen. Dit is niet prettig als om half 6 s'morgens de eerste gasten vertrekken. Verder is het een rustige buurt en kan je gratis parkeren op het kerkplein.

Wat een ontzettend fijn hotel! Super goede ligging, heel mooi opgeknapt en bijzonder ruime kamers. We komen graag terug.

Erg schoon er ontbrak echter een klein lampje naast het bed. Je kon bv niet lezen want dan moest het grote licht aan en kon de ander niet slapen.
