Pool under renovation.

American Trade Hotel was the perfect hotel for exploring Casa Viego. It was in a beautiful square right in the middle of old town. The staff were all super polite and helpful. The property was beautifully decorated. I especially loved the Spanish tile and all of the lovely potted plants. The library was so pretty and had so many books! The pool was being remodeled, so it was disappointing we weren’t able to use it. Our room had all the comforts of home. Big pillows and a super comfy bed. Housekeeping was great and we loved the turn down service. Our room was in the corner on the fourth floor. The lights from the church across the street were quite bright in the middle of the night. The church bells ring every half hour and hour. Personally, it did not bother us, but it might others. Bring earplugs, the nightlife noise can get a bit loud, especially on a Saturday night.

Great hotel and location, in the center of Casco Viejo. Surrounded by amazing restaurants and bars. All of them at walking distance from the hotel. The people working there were very nice an attentive. The only con is the bell ringing of the church right next to the hotel. It starts at 6:00 am everyday, everything else is awesome.

This was my second stay at the property. I gave them a second chance. The property is beautiful and has lots of character . My issue this time was the restaurant closing at 6:30 , and room service was not available. It was an inconvenience to have to leave the property. I also did not have hot water , but I was given a new room . Going forward I will just stick with the Sofitel Panamá hotel

Unfortunately badly run, there are many better options in the area at the same price. It may have been great at some stage but not anymore. Sofitel and La Capagne outshine this by 3 stars!

This is a wonderful hotel. We spent a week here and loved it. Location is amazing, food fantastic with excellent cafe attached. We loved the decor and everything about it. Fantastic stay, thank you.

We loved this property! Not only is the location perfect for a visit to old Panama, but the property itself transforms you back to an old era of elegance and beauty. The staff are wonderful and the dining options wonderful for a stay.

An absolute gem with historic character. Staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful. Meals were delicious. Would recommend to anyone traveling to Panama City.

I would stay here again. This is a great hotel in a wonderful location. The staff is excellent. I loved thr bathroom rain shower. The food in the dining room is reasonably priced and delicious. The club attached to the hotel is very intimate and we saw a great show. Good food and drinks too. The pool is a wading pool and has a couple of missng tiles. The church bells across the street ring from 630am to sround 10pm. Casco Viejo is a great place to stay. It was like the New Orleans French Quarter but cleaner and without Bourbon street.

Amazing stay! Beautiful historic hotel right in the centre of everything. Restaurants shopping music historic sites all within walking distance. Food at the hotel was delicious.. we had room service for breakfast each day and sat on the Terrence enjoying our coffee. All the Staff was great! Friendly and always there to help with anything we needed. Would definitely recommend staying here and we will definitely return.

Right in the center of Casco Viejo, this hotel is so chic.

A classy, historic retreat located in the center of the old city district. What makes it stand out is its extraordinary staff. You immediately become their family and they will do everything they can to assure you have a joyful experience. For instance, one night a pianist was just finishing up when I came down to the lobby. When he learned I love piano music, he offered to play another set of my favorite melodies. And he turns out to be their food and beverage manager as well, so I was invited to their jazz club that night!

Nice room, nice but small pool area. Heart of old town

An excellent location with a pleasant colonial design. Staff are attentive and security is very visible. Rooms are rustic colonial with nice views but can be noisy (with street and church noise). Restaurant and attached coffee shop feature a good variety of quality choices.

Entire staff: desk personnel, restaurant waiters, housemaids, door keepers: All were courteous and friendly.!

I was celebrating my wife’s birthday and the hotel staff was terrific. Upon arriving at our suite, we found a delicious cake for my wife and a nice note.Luis Alexander at reception was very helpful and Daniel (waiter) at the restaurant was very nice. We highly recommend this hotel.

Was a beautiful histotical hoywl. Food was delicious. Is a bit loud due to the church bells next door and park.
