If you're looking for a traditional friendly family-run Jersey hotel, you'll really like the Norfolk.The warm welcome is there the moment you walk through the door. We paid a very fair price for our double room on second floor (via lift or stairs) which included breakfast. Room bigger than I had imagined with lots of wardrobe and cupboard storage. Town view from window with a partial view of the entrance to the Howard Davis Park. It's a spacious hotel with lots of sofas and small rooms downstairs. There was traditional entertainment in the bar every night: singers, musicians, a comedian etc. Breakfast was included in the large dining room. Maria was our very friendly waitress and it's good to have tea, coffee and toast brought to the table. There is a good choice of juices, cereals and fruit on the breakfast bar and then you put in an order for cooked or continental. You can reserve a table for the evening mea, but we ate out. There's plenty of parking for hotel guests, but we didn't hire a car as the hotel is central and there is a bus stop outside for the excellent Liberty bus service. The rose garden area outside was perfect in the hot weather while we were there and I had a couple of swims in the outdoor unheated pool. Bonus: If you like to print out your boarding passes there is a desktop in reception. The reveiews I had read were just right and I am vry pleased to add to these. An excellent stay at the Norfolk. Very nice hotel, nice room but every time the toilet was flushed it made a horrendous noise until the system filled up and the room had the smallest tv I've ever seen in a hotel plus hardly any of the channels worked apart from those a very nice hotel

Handy for the town centre. A bit dated inside but the room was comfortable & clean & the breakfast was good..

Clean,friendly reception staff but hotel dated, clearly aimed at older generation. Breakfast -buffet very basic, no catering for dietary needs, had to request non dairy milk several times. Slow service at breakfast & both continental & cooked options were disappointing. Tea & coffee in room, no shower gels/shampoo/had to purchase if required. Wouldn’t use again.

Really nice, helpfull, situated and clean. But...... A small but. You've gone back in time here and most of the patrons are from the same era. Would still go back though.

We had a wonderful stay at Norfolk Hotel! It was very clean and cozy and the staff were very kind and accommodating. I highly recommend it and plan to stay there again for our next visit to St Helier.

Hotel staff were very friendly and helpful Service for breakfast and dinner was very good. Hotel was comfortable and clean. Spacious room. Easy 10-15 minute walk from St Helier bus station. (Bus stop right outside front door - I didn't use but goes to bus station for other connections.) The hotel is quite dated in decor and facilities. Our bathroom contained high sided bath with shower in - ok if you are physically able to get into it. Also there wasn't a blind on the bathroom window which meant it was very hot due to the sun blasting in through it for most of the day. No modcons like Aircon - just windows and the hope of a breeze when the weather is very warm. The breakfast and dinner are simple, limited variety. However the food we had was very good.

Overall a pleasant stay, bed could have been better as it was 2 beds put together as a double. Food and staff were excellent
