Suitable for overnight stays

I had a good stay at St Georges Motor Inn, it's close to the city and across from the tram stop so it's very convenient.

Comfortable bed. Free Parking.

Very fair price for the location and parking. Heating quite difficult to control (perhaps an instruction card?) Tram stop at the doorstep. A little dated, but comfortable overall. We will use again.

We stayed overnight to visit a concert in Northcote, and chose St. George’s motor inn as it was close to public transport/walking distance. Great that there was onsite parking. The room was clean and functioning with fridge but for additional amenities like microwave, plates snd cutlery. you needed to call the front desk. Bathroom looked like recently updated. Our bathroom door looked like recently repaired but awaiting paint. We had twin room in winter, the double bed had electric blanket which unfortunately we didn’t discover till the morning, the single did not. There were no blankets on the beds, just sheets and bed cover. There was 1 blanket in the cupboard not as if we could share. They probably expected us to run the ac to heat the room. We were only used to ac to cool and therefore we found ourselves cold overnight with not enough covers. I ended up stealing the cover from the other single to get enough insulation. If we were staying more than one night we would have sorted it out as they seemed very nice at front desk, but it was late when we returned from the concert and we just rolled with it.
