As part of the airport it was accessible to trains into downtown London.

Overall a good location if you're flying out of Gatwick, the rooms have all you need. The big issue I have is the wet room concept, it's not one they can fix but one people should be aware of as the floors and everywhere is soaking wet after a shower, it isn't great. The staff on the front desk were great, and tis super convenient

From the on line check in that did not work to the dark and narrow hallway to the poorly designed and cramped room. Bad lighting, etc. Stay here if you enjoy claustrophobia.

Stayed here many times and always had a pleasant and comfortable experience. Rooms are very well soundproofed, however our most recent VIP room didn’t have a good view as advertised.

The room was very different. Super small with no window, but very clean and comfortable. The bathroom was basically a shower with a toilet and sink in it, very interesting design. It worked very well. I would stay there again but not for more than one night at a time.

First, its easy to find. Quick check in. The passage smelled of old carpet but looked clean. Nice comfy bed. A somewhat confusing shower since its right in front of the toilet but once you use it you don’t want to stop.

Cute modern rooms. Compact, well laid out space. Great location in the airport when you have an overnight layover.

Does what it says on the tin. Great location for the airport with the entrance in the south terminal. Small but well designed room, quiet with very comfortable bed. Touch screen controls for the lighting and temperature. Compact but very functional bathroom. Ideal for an overnight at the airport. Would stay again.

Bloc is located within Gatwick airport making it very convenient for early morning flights. Rooms are very small (though we upgraded from basic). Bathroom is wet room with no separate shower. It does not dry out quickly. Staff at check in very upbeat and helpful.

Living over an hour away from the airport and having a 5.55am flight we thought the Bloc would be perfect to just get our head down. We arrived at 8.30pm and had a takeaway coffee to take in with us. It’s all smart phone access, the lift, door key etc, not easy with 2 large suitcases, 2 hold-all and a takeaway coffee. When we accessed the room which was tiny. We literally couldn’t both walk in with our cases, they just isn’t enough standing room. I put my coffee on the one bedside cabinet and went and stood in the bathroom for my husband to enter. He walked in turned around in the only standing space available and knocked the coffee straight off the side with his backpack. We went down to reception to get some tissue to mop it up and they insisted they would send housekeeping. After 30 minutes perched on the end of the bed waiting we called again as desperate to get our heads down. When we finally got to bed the mattress was terrible and you just rolled into the middle of the bed. The pillows were rock hard too. After a terrible night with no more than an hours sleep we upped and left at 3am, it was going to be more comfortable sitting in the airport. Blocs response were we should have booked a bigger room as a couple, they acknowledged the mattresses needed changing and suggested we should have asked for alternative pillows. If your requirements are the same as ours avoid this hotel at all costs, save your money and leave home early, you will get more sleep.

I like a chance to sleep a bit more and wake up with no stress ,just shower and go to departures

It was very comfortable for one night at the airport. I didn’t like that the bathroom was a wet room.
