Very hard to find parking, called ahead and they assured us they had use of a parking lot, but when arrived was told it was not available, had to drive around for street parking.

Really enjoyed our stay here, friendly staff who spoke good english and very walkable to old town.

Simply amazing!

Very pleasant and friendly hotel. Spotless. Good position to walk to bus station. Lots of local shops. Lovely town.

Rooms are a bit small but does feel fairly clean. Staff were super nice, friendly, and helpful. Area around this pousada is safe and walkable, with lots of shops and restaurants nearby. Less than 5 minutes walking from the bus station and about 10 minutes walking to the historical center.

Very nice hotel and great location. Nice selection for breakfast in the morning. Water at breakfast and better towels were our only way to improve our stay. Staff very friendly and helpful. Would definitely recommend.

I had an issue with my AC, so they moved me to another bedroom at end of the night. It as ok, but my last breakfast there it was missing many things, although the one in my first morning there was amazing.

Location is very good. 2 min walk to the bus terminal and a few min stroll to Central Histórico. Room nice and clean with a good bed. Shower and toilet could need a little upgrade. Some reason they still have the annoying soft toilet seat others pointed out earlier. Didnt try breakfast but it looked ok. My room was closer to the pool restaurantand I did find it a little noisy in the evening but had no trouble sleeping at night. All in all good value.

Bathroom need to be updated, terrible shower and toilet seats are very cheap. The mattress however was extremely comfortable. For the price is think is a good place. Not in Central Histórico but very walkable to there.

Nice pousada just down the street from the bus station. It is very convenient, clean and reception speaks English. Good breakfasts! Only downside is that you can hear all bath noises as the bathrooms are vented onto the hallways! Also, they provide no umbrellas when it is raining even though even smaller pousadas offered us umbrellas without charge to borrow.

Great place to stay, everything that could possibly be needed was never more than a few minutes walk away, the historical centre is a little bit further than this, but not a noticeable distance. This was a great place to stay with a swimming pool for hotel guests

Lovely hotel close the the historic centre of the town loved the pool and public areas of the hotel would not think twice about staying again

I've stayed at Principe a few times now. In some ways it's a typical pousada with typical levels of comfort, but in other ways it's a much better example. The service level is high and the breakfast has a great spread. Just a few minutes walk into the historic centre, too.

We enjoyed our stay at this hotel. The pool area was great and the location was perfect. Nice staff made us feel welcome and were very approachable. Only downside was the wifi as it didn't work in our room.

Service and tips about activities to do in Paraty were great. The room is spacious and the breakfast was also great. But Wi-fi is only available in the lobby (couldn't connect from inside the room).

Very close to the historical center of the city. Comfortable rooms and very decent breakfast. Bed and pillow were awesome. The whole town had a black out that night.
