There are no amenities. The hotel didn’t have a hairdryer in the room. The larger room I booked was disabled. The breakfast offering was so limited. It felt like a strange hotel.

The property was ‘cheap and cheerful’. Having said this you get what you pay for so if you are looking at having the finer luxuries then this probably isn’t for you. Check in and out was simple and the reception was attended 24 hours. I have to say that the hotel was very clean and given the price point didn’t disappoint. The included breakfast certainly isn’t a full English but cereals, toast and drinks. Would I stay here again? Yes.

The room we had was very spacious and can't fault the cleanliness of it. The staff were friendly and accommodating. There was free parking on site which was good. The continental breakfast they served was okay but would've hoped for more than just cereal and toast, plus no option for apple juice only orange. I didn't realise before booking that there was no air conditioning in the room but even during the bank holiday heatwave it was actually fine in our room. Annoyingly, on our first night there we heard lots of noise coming from upstairs. A group of people arrived around 11pm at night and were being loud with what sounded like tons of children running around stomping their feet with parents not even thinking about other guests. Eventually I had to contact the front desk who apologised. Other nights it was better but you can still hear guests upstairs moving about sometimes.

Staff were extremely helpful and polite. Were using the accessible room which was very spacious for a wheelchair user. Bonus breakfast with cereals and toast tea coffee and orange juice. Ample parking convenient for M1 and our 1 night stopover.

Was not impressed to find a member of staff parked at an angle in the disabled bay making it difficult fo us to access our own car. At 8am breakfast stuff wasn’t even fully available

It is a 2* hotel on a side of a fairly busy A road - one cannot expect a Savoy. It was clean, warm, the room quite large and comfortable, the staff kind and friendy, plenty of parking, easy distance to where we needed to be. Breakfast - a toast with jam or marmalade available by the reception. Included in the price of a £50 room I considered it a nice extra rather than breakfast I should rate for variety or quality. We’ll definitely be back!
