Everything was wonderful. All the staff were warm, friendly, and impeccably polite. The room was clean, tidy, and cozy, equipped with basic amenities such as slippers, toothbrushes, and a kettle, and the balcony offered a stunning view. Breakfast was served in allocated portions, which I found perfectly reasonable and well organized. Cortina is truly a fantastic city.

The hotel’s located at 5 minutes by car from the city centre. My experience wasn’t positive for the following reasons: The reception is available only at specific times. There isn’t a lift to go to the room so you have to physically lift your luggage across different floors climbing very small stairs. The receptionist at arrival didn’t move from his desk, didn’t make an effort to show the way to the room or offered to help with the luggage. He simply pointed out that rooms/breakfast room were on the right hand side from where he was seated. The rooms are smelly and outdated with extremely uncomfortable beds & pillows. Very noisy in the evening (due to guests being loud) and during the night (the walls are so thin that you can hear absolutely everything from the other rooms). No heating in the bathroom (with temperature going down to -11 at night!). Poor breakfast and staff unprepared on hospitality rules. Also there’s a building site outside.

The older waitress was extremely rude right from the reception. When we arrived and asked if we could have dinner, she acted as if we were bothering her. The restaurant was almost empty, but the dishes came with very little food. The two stars are only for the taste, which was actually good. Other than that, her service is not worth the humiliation — she yells and treats customers badly. Note: The two younger waiters were very kind and attentive

Restaurant review: We HAVE to pay 5€ service fee which is exceptionally high for a restaurant of this class. We received a bread plate which was a fairly big portion but the pieces were hard and dry. The roasted potatoes cost 6€ and the portion is very small and they take about 20 minutes to serve. why?!! We do not recommend going here, high prices small portions and long waiting time.

Restaurant review 🍽️ Service : 3 Food : 4,5 Service definitely has to be improved, we ordered a bottle of water 3 times and it wasn’t coming. It happened to other tables too, so not just a single case. They are a bit disorganized. Also waiters can’t suggest or explain dishes, which is a pity because menu is quite interesting. Food was very good, at least what I ordered : gnocchi and mousse di ricotta (portion is very big). Wine was good too. Keep in mind that dogs are not allowed, only on the terrace (outside).
