Fantastic hostel

Excellent location! Facilities - kitchen, bathrooms and showers clean and everything worked well. Reception was kind and efficient. I would stay here again.

I visited Trondheim as a city tourist in the summer, but almost everybody else in the hostel was cycling or hiking their way through Norway. This hostel is absolutely for such people. To start with, there is a very cheap laundromat in the building next to the hostel. Just 25 NOK (about €2) for a wash and free drying!!! That is the cheapest laundry I have done on trips in Europe. The hostel also has a kitchen, which was used by a few people to cook large quantities of food to take on their camping/hiking, when they won't have access to a kitchen. It is a relatively small kitchen though. The views from the hostel, at least in summer, are great. The hostel itself is on top of a hill, so factor that in if you are carrying a lot of luggage on a cycle or are walking.

I was surprised that I had to make the bed. I don’t think I have had to do that at any hostel before. Staff were extremely knowledgeable, kind and helpful, made my trip much better. The schoolkids were really noisy but I guess that’s to be expected.

Facilities are in great condition, a nice clean space with break out areas on each floor and an additional movie / pool room.

Staff were very helpful when I notified them about my late arrival and check-in, and responded promptly through email. They also made sure I had a towel and some soap waiting on my bed when I asked if there would be any available for use at the hostel.

It was my first time to book sharing apartment, but it was so nice experience. People who worked here was so friendly and guests was so intresting people from all over the world to talk to. Definitely recommend and will come back again❤️

Bodde på Rumi med en skoleklasse og vi ble positivt overrasket over hvor fint og koselig det var der! Ungene hadde det greit med køyesenger, vi voksne hadde det nok mye mer komplekst på våre dobbel rom (veldig gode senger!) Godt utstyrte kjøkken både i fellesrom og de vi disponerte i forbindelse med dobbeltrom. Litt bratt, men gangavstand til det meste!

Ok. Grei plass.

Rent og ryddig. Enkelt og bra. Gode rom og senger. Rolig område. Gangavstand til byen. Grei parkering.

Alles in allem eine gute Wahl, die Sauberkeit des Gemeinschaftsraums und der Küche ließ hier und da zu Wünschen übrig.
