The temperature in the room was unbearable and the bedding was so thick. The temperature was 28 degrees on the display and it wouldn’t go down. I spoke to reception but it didn’t change. Had the window open too. Hotel was nice otherwise.

the guy at the reception is very poorly trained we stayed at the reception for 40 minutes he said he couldn't book us a room and made us book Olline the rest of the hotel is wonderful cleanliness conditions everything is superb the staff is poorly trained

Welcoming staff, clean and nicely furnished room, superb bathroom facilities.

Dundee Malmaison is looking a bit dated, rooms are spacious but with tiny windows, which is a shame as the views across the Tay Estuary are pretty stunning. Loading/drop off beware, we incurred a £50 penalty because we exceeded 10 minutes and the reception desk gives you no warning, which is mystifying. A tiny detail, which can ruin your impression of the stay.

Overall an excellent hotel. Only issue was one of the 2 lifts was broken as under repair. On the 6th floor meant it was along wait going up or down. Stairs was not an option for me I am afraid. Other wise it was great value for money

We stay here whenever we visit our daughter, we travel with dogs. The staff are always helpful and friendly. We have never had a bad room, always clean and tidy and well maintained. Would definitely recommend

Great hotel. Decor is a little over the top but it’s a very nice place to stay. No defined onsite parking but there is a reasonable parking lot located just across the street. I would recommend this hotel. With any booking you make in the UK, always book the breakfast if you intend to eat breakfast. It will save you a ton if you prebook it.

Me and my fiancé stayed in the signature room it was incredible. Perfect place to stay for a romantic night.

Staff of hotel and restaurant are exceptionally helpful and pleasant, as well as flexible. The location is also really perfect, with short walks to the river in one direction and all the pubs and restaurants you need in the other. Rooms are very comfortable. The only downside is that one pub under the hotel had loud live music on Saturday night that was very audible in my room. It was a nice selection and if I hadn't needed to be up very early the next morning, I might have gone to the pub to listen. It went to well after midnight. But, earplugs were pretty much enough to address the problem.

We had a lovely time everything was perfect. A special mention to all the staff everyone was very pleasant and helpful, we can't wait to go back

A lovely hotel close to the station.

Great location in Dundee, near to transport links and all tourist spots, bars and shops are within a short walking distance. Staff are excellent here and we felt really welcomed and well looked after. Unfortunately the hotel is past its best and in desperate need of a refurb, new carpeting and a lick of paint.

I have never stayed in a hotel that offers a free beverage in exchange for saving the planet by minimising laundry. It’s an amazing concept which I would have opted for regardless, so very nice touch. It made me feel like you appreciate my business. Hotel is at the Center of activity. Few minutes walk to shops, bus station, museums, nightlife and restaurants. Very impressed by the entire experience. Thank you

This is a gem of a hotel. All the modern comforts with a bit of old world charm. Just a short walk from the Discovery Centre in the heart of Dundee.

First time staying here and I absolutely loved it! Quite fancy compared to what I'm used to but definitely worth it. The staff was wonderful, the food delicious and the cocktails were perfect! I'll definitely be coming here again

Beginning to look a bit tired overall but excellent bar service.

Reception staff member was on there phone when we checked in, the room had a really squeaky floor and was just an average room.
