Très ordinaire : chambres et nourritures

Did not enjoy the customer service at the bar terrase😔everything else was good

Our concerns are twofold. We were only told there was no restaurant service until it was too late. Our room was to include a breakfast but for the above reason it was non-existent. Secondly after checking in the staff seemed to be nonexistent. On check out we tried to return our keys but the door to reception was locked - and it was after 9am !

Beautiful grounds and kind staff.

Has a cottage feel. Lots of open space to walk around.

La chambre est très propre et spacieuse et c’est très tranquille. Les directions pour se rendre à la chambre ne sont pas claires, nous avons cherché longtemps Il manque quelques détails dans la chambre et aucun service à la chambre pour un 4 étoiles c’est décevant. Les deux spas extérieur sont vraiment pas propre et celui à l’intérieur est très chaud Pas de clef pour les casiers pour sécuriser nos biens personnels Nous ne reviendrons pas

Our weekend stay was amazing! The staff was extremely helpful, courteous, and so nice about communicating with us in English. We know very little French and were made to feel very comfortable. Thank you so much for an amazing experience!

The indoor spa was cold. No towels, coffee machine did not work. All in all it was good. Oh room with a garden view was just a row of flowers and then the hiway..the grounds were beautiful

I enjoyed my stay at Auberge Handfield. It was quite with friendly staff and on-site dining. The room was very clean and comfortable. There was plenty of parking and I had a great view of the river. I would stay there again.

They didn't clean our room and nobody onsite to talk to. Might have been out of season but were not informed about it anywhere. Facilities like restaurant, spa and pool were closed. None of this was mentioned upon booking or check-in .

We were disappointed the cuisine was medium but definatly not 5 star and overpriced for what it was.It was my wifes 60th birthday and we went there partly for the sauna and whirlpool. On the second day we were all set to enjoy these facilitys just to be told that they were out of order. Something was broken in the whilpool which meant that we couldn't use it nor the sauna.which we found strange we could have still used the sauna.Then after we were about to check out they informed us we could have a free breakfast. Too little too late.I would also point out that on arrival at the hotel . I asked if we coold have a room overlooking the Richelieu river. They said it was possible but would be another $40 ,a night evan though the hotel was practicaly empty. So clearly there is an element of greed here. If you pay top dollar for a weekend get away.Yoi have a right to expect top quality. The service was lacking and the food in the restaurant was overpriced.and mediocre at best.

We decided to check out a rural accommodation and found this property to be just perfect. Although it’s an older property, the place was kept immaculately clean and made it feel like we’re back in time. It was an awesome Experience, imagine being in an exclusive hotel 85 years ago. The owners kept the building from when it was started, but the beddings and the room was very clean and so comfortable our room has a patio with an , overlooking view of the river and the boats parked in their docks and the river was so calming. The restaurant was decent, food was great❤️ it was a perfect getaway from the city. A small business making it in 85 years, says a lot about dedication and high hospitality standard. Waiter/cook and front desk staff were friendly.Expedia's VIP drinks were greatly appreciated🫶

Staff are very helpful and friendly 5*. Dinner was excellent. Room Cossy and nice calm view on the river.

C’est un endroit fabuleux où nous nous faisons un devoir de nous y arrêter au moins une fois par année ! La suite #54 est splendide avec une vue extraordinaire sur la rivière Richelieu et la marina. Ses voisines ont d’ailleurs une aussi belle vue, j’en conviens, mais la suite est exceptionnelle à tous les niveaux. Fin septembre, le rapport qualité/prix est incroyable, puisque c’est le début de la basse saison, et les levers du soleil sur la rivière dans la brume sont majestueux. Bref, c’est à expérimenter une fois dans votre vie !

The AC system could not be used because of the stench coming out of it. Et le Wifi est pratiquement inutilisable dans la chambre 59. Les 3 téléphone que nous avions dans la chambre perdaient la connection une bare sans arrêt. Et les cooks du restaurant sur la rivière ne maîtrisent pas la cuisson de viande. Medium saignant servis très bien cuit et remplacé par une bavette saignante.Pas fort. Bon service du waiter.
