I booked this hotel because of the reviews???(do not believe reviews) it was terrible after driving all day to get to this location, no staff onsite, you have to stand out in the cold to phone a number to get the key which is the mailbox. I would have cancelled if we were earlier! Nothing worked, TV no signal, sink didn't drain, toilet seat moves andthe link was broken. I will attach pictures, THIS IS NOT QUIET OR PEACEFUL!!! SEMI TRUCKS NON STOP ALL NIGHT WITH JAKE BRAKES AS THIS IS THE TOP OF GOLDEN Valley, as they drive down the major grade hill into Golden BC, RED lipstick on a rundown flytrap, parking terrible, the toitet paper jambed with the paper wrap onto the holder the toilets ran all night TERRIBLE after a 10 hr drive to experience thsi, was expecting a little more! I know its not the Ritz but come on! You charge a fee provide service!

We liked the low price mostly. The property is an older property, but it is nicely maintained. The beds were very comfortable and it was very quiet. it was a quick overnight stay and we will definitely come back.

The room was clean and appeared to have been renovated recently. Although the shower head needs some attention. The check-in clerk was friendly and efficient. The rooms are not very sound proof - but not their fault the guys on both sides of me were noisy.

The room was perfect for our 1 night stay! Appreciated the balcony and the comfortable bed. We arrived past midnight, staff was accommodating and check in was a breeze.

The room was clean. The mattress was very comfortable. The staff was very pleasant and helpful.

Reserved room wasn't on the first floor as requested, all amenities such as pool and hot tub were unavailable, towels in suite were WET, the room wasn't prepared for our reservation and arrival at all. Very Very unimpressed and will not recommend this establishment.

Great room for the cost. Good location and easy to get to off highway.

Great place to stay

The staff was very polite and check-in went well. Unfortunately, the room had very musty smelling linen and towels, and the room was not very clean. The toilet did not work and we were offered a new room, but it was 7 AM. We slept in our clothes on top of the bedding. When we went to check out, we had to leave our keys in the room so we were not able to talk to anyone. If I owned the hotel and put someone in that room I would refund their money. We will not be back.

Filthiest room I’ve ever stayed in. Proper hygiene was not high on the list. Beds appeared to have been previously slept in and possibly more than once. One bed sheets smelt like Indian food and the other bed had 3 different smells, and non smelt like soap or clean. Dry dead skin at foot area. Stains on pillow and towels. Dirty floor. Used toilet paper on counter that was dirty in inside of role (I don’t even want to speculate). Darkest and thickest black hair was in many places in room. Used soap and hair in shower. I had reason to believe that they just put fresh towels (stained) in room and called it a day. Very upset with this experience and didn’t get much sleep and felt dirty the whole time there. Very sad to see this happening in Canada.

The first set of room keys provided access to a room that wasn't cleaned or prepared. They moved us to another room. Although it looked ready, when it cam to bed time, the sheets looked like they had already been slept in. The door didn't lock properly. Would not stay again.

Easy check in and clean rooms. Definitely the nicest place I have stayed for <$100!

Beds were very comfortable and shower worked really well. Blood stained pillow and bathroom were quite gross, had to clean a bit. Make sure to call ahead to see what amenities are actually open. Pool- not open. Hot tub- not open. Breakfast area- not open. Asked why there was no notification on website or booking. Answer was.... "Because they aren't open"
