Perfect place for a taste of Minas Gerais. I write this in English because Brasilians already know of the splendor of this establishment. You will not find a more comfortable, rustic, beautiful hotel in this region. The breakfast with most of the food cooked on the wood stove makes things even more special.

All the staff were top notch. Beautiful bar, restaurant-breakfast room. Very convenient location for walking around town

Our stay at this Hotel was excellent. The entire staff, from the front desk, the restaurant & bar staff, to the maintenance people, were all very helpful and friendly. We had some special requests due to our health issues, and the staff were accommodating and provided solutions readily. The hotel itself is beautiful and preserves the colonial style. It is well located near the central district and next to local shops. The Hotel Bar is stunning and a particularly a fun spot to hang out.

Nice period property _ trade off is small rooms.

The hotel was very nice, but the restaurant food left a lot to be desired. We had the duck confit and it was dry and the accompanying rice was undercooked. We also had two pastas with red and white sauce and pieces of beef but they were only average. The green salad was very good though. The breakfast was limited compared to other restaurants I'd been to recently. Although it was nice to have eggs prepared individually, the choice of meats to go with the eggs were very limited. There were no potatoes nor vegetables. There was no yoghurt drink.

Hotel necessitando de manutenção, internamente nos quartos (pintura) e principalmente nas áreas comuns, com entulho de material de construção pelo pátio. Hotel em um prédio antigo nem localizado.

Na Internet constava ser 5 estrelas, mas as instalações e café da manhã seriam de 4 estrelas.

O hotel é fantástico. Tudo impecável, super limpo, silencioso, cama super confortável, roupa de cama cheirosa, as amenidades do banheiro podem melhorar e seguir o padrao do hotel, cafe da manhã estupendo, arquitetura maravilhosa, decoração de muito bom gosto, área externa linda, piscina de água quente funcionando 24 horas, ótimo serviço de bar com preços justos. Cordialidade na chegada. Só acho que os funcionários, no geral, podem sorrir um pouco mais e perguntar na saída como foi a estadia. Super indico e vou voltar, com certeza!

Location was beautiful and the property was wonderfully renovated. There was no complimentary water and the cleaning products they used were a bit too strong smelling, otherwise everything was wonderful.

Beautiful setting on a quiet street with a church and plaza on one side. The walk to the center is very quick. We loved our room which overlooked an interior courtyard. The lobby is lovely - they even light candles in the evening. The breakfast was fantastic. Overall we couldn’t have been happier with our stay.
