Each year, we spend two weeks at Villa Belvedere and use it as our base for visiting family, friends, and cultural attractions in the area. It is a home away from home. We particularly like the sumptuous breakfast that is served in the garden until 10am. This provides a relaxing and nutritious start to each day, accompanied by classical music.

Villa Belverde is a hidden jewel. Located on a large private lot with a beautiful garden, the accommodation is like an Italian art palace inside, with high ceilings, big windows, overstuffed chairs, fine sculptures, paintings and large mirrors on the wall, Persian rugs on the floor, and marble everywhere. There is a covered veranda and a large garden in back, with a lawn, big shade trees, a trellis with roses, garden paths, geraniums, terra cotta pots and various marble statues and busts. Beyond the property a green pine covered ridge rises on the horizon. The rooms are sunny and bright, the property is secure, parking is easy, and everything is sunny and bright.

Villa Belverde is a hidden gem! It is clean, bright, and the hostess Margherita is amazing! Her recommendations for this to do in the area were incredible, and not the usual tourist traps. The breakfast each morning was just perfect!

This property was well beyond our expectations. The host Margarita was extremely welcoming and friendly and made sure we were comfortable. The room we had (no 4) has a huge terrace overlooking the garden and the mountains. The bedrooms were large and very comfortable. Continental breakfast was lovely and free parking was a great bonus. Good connection to free WI fi too. Can't really comment on the area as we only spent one night there as a stop over. Only drawback was that it was on a busy main road.

We enjoyed our stay at Villa Belverde. Our room was comfortable, breakfast was good, and we loved the art collection in the house and garden.

Wow. Amazing. Beautiful. I can't say enough great things about this hotel/ bed and breakfast and the wonderful people who run it. A converted mansion with just a few rooms, it was amazing. Beautiful garden with a fountain, roses, an aviary. House and garden is filled with artwork. It was more like staying at a mansion or a museum than a hotel. Our hostess there was gracious and helpful. She even drove us herself when we couldn't get a taxi. By far the best accommodations I have ever had in all of Europe. Thinking of the breakfast on the veranda by the gardens makes me want to hop on a plane and go back.

This was one of the best hotel rentals I've ever had. It is a treasure of a house set in a generous garden. The rooms are suites with a sitting room. There are free parking spaces, and a luxurious breakfast. The hostess, Margarita is extremely helpful. For the cost, it was one of the best values I have ever had in decades of visiting Europe. We visited the area to tour the Carrara quarries.

The villa is beautiful and rather room we had was exceptional the owner was so helpful and really made the stay,breakfast was fab and the terrace fantastic

Lovely Villa with fabulous art and garden. Hostess was wonderful, garden was filled with art, birds in aviary greeted the morning with song. The tasteful and whimsical art made the experience enjoyable and relaxing. We enjoyed our stay and wished we had booked another day or two. Near marble mine, easy walk to center of town.

The host was very friendly and helpful with the Carrara tour. You will need a car to get to town.

Veldig hyggelig og rolig B&B! Bodde tre netter. Nydelig rom/suite i et stor eldre villa. Villaen er flott dekorert med blanding av antikke møbler og moderne kunst. Egen privat hage/park som hører til villaen. Sikker parkering bak elektronisk port. Fantastisk vert som hadde mange gode anbefalinger og tips til nærområdet. Frokost var av høy kvalitet. En enkel kontinental buffet med frukt, ost, skinke, italienske bakevarer. Egg og spesialkaffe på bestilling. Frokost ble servert på verandaen.
