This was a surprising gem in an otherwise confusing neighborhood. The entryway is blocked off at the street and we spent an hour just trying to figure out how to enter the property. I parked nearby, walked to the gate, pressed the button several times, but no response. When i attempted to call the employees spoke only spanish and I could not use google translate at the same time as my phone. I was able to get help from the car rental employees located next door.
Once inside the hotel was as modern and clean as any U.S. hotel. With the help of google-translate on my phone i communicated with the staff. They were very friendly and helpful. We only stayed 1 night at the conclusion of our 7-night trip to costa rica and left early in the morning to catch a flight. They prepared us a quick eggs and toast breakfast and offered cut fruit to take with us.
The only complaint I could offer was the very flat pillows. Please replace these!
