The property was charming and the front desk staff were very kind and helpful.

Location Locations Location at the best close to the Colosseum, Trevi fountain, Spanish steps as well as restaurants and shopping. You can’t get a better location. The staff were super friendly and helpful. Arranged a transport to the airport for our flight leaving at 6 AM. Provided advice for a real Italian restaurant. Would definitely recommend this hotel and would definitely stay again.

This was a fabulous hotel! The staff was incredible Marella and her father worked the front desk and they were absolutely wonderful. The rooms were great and very clean. Would definitely stay there again!!!

Location is great, few mins walk to colosseum. Room was lovely with balcony, very clean and staff were great. Would rebook here if I return to Rome

Nice place

The employees were excellent. They helped in so many ways with our trip. Information of the area for sights and shopping. They also helped with transportation. The elevator was old and the musty smell really bothered my allergies. The electricity was old and different. The location was great. 5 minute walk to the Colassume and the Forum.

I arrived early, they checked my bags for me, gave me a map and showed me all of the top places. Room was clean and comfortable. Great location near colosseum, forum, metro line, restaurants. Staff is friendly and knowledgeable.

The room was small but the balcony made up for it. Location was excellent. Many restaurants to choose from. Next to the Colosseum and Roman Forum. I would stay here again.

Super clean Staff friendly and helpful Convenient area

The location is very convenient to many sites and metro. When we arrived, the hotel clerk pointed out the many sites on a map for us. The room was quiet. I would stay here again.

It is located in the center of downtown of Rome, close to many major attractions. Maria is very friendly and very helpful. It is a small, historic hotel. The room is not large, but makes you feel comfortable. You need to leave the room key at the reception desk for security reasons. We had a great time and would highly recommend to stay in it.

Central location.

Great location, close to the Coliseum as well as nice choice of restaurants both right outside the hotel and more in the backstreets (recommended if you want a quieter and more intimate atmosphere)

Quick two-day trip to enjoy the history of Rome. Could not have been more convenient - just a stone's throw to the major historical sites. Room was a bit snug and decor was a bit outdated, but it was clean and convenient.

Love this hotel! It has dining and stores very close. The best thing is that it is very central to major Roman sites. One block away from the Colosseum. Rooms are amazing, will return. Staff will help you with orientation to different sites.

Super stay at Hotel Romano, all the staff are super helpful and friendly. Very central for all the sightseeing hot spots and a lot of restaurants close by. The room facilities were all very easy to use (air conditioning unit etc.) though the plumbing makes some funny noises - but given the building age it’s not surprising. Bed was comfy and we had a little bottle of fizz waiting for us on arrival which was a lovely touch. Great stay, thank you!!
