Location was great, the Colosseum was right around the corner. Restaurants near by. Staff were extremely helpful and kind. We would definitely stay there again.

I liked how close it was to main attractions, wakable, many restaurants around. The staff were friendly. The reception is open 24/7. The room is very small, the bed is against the wall, so one person has to jump in to the bed.

The staff was very friendly and welcoming. They were on top of everything g I needed from checking the A/C, asking if I would like a street view or something more quiet, and they even called a taxi for me when needed. I would definitely stay here again.

I stayed on a solo trip for my birthday and the staff popped a Prosecco in my room with a little card that made my day. The receptionist was wonderful, I can’t remember her name but I think it began with an M, she was a blonde lady who gave me a map with all the landmarks and explained the best routes to take on foot or public transport she was so friendly and a credit to the place. The nightporter was also lovely, as was the gentleman on check out. Location is ideal just around the corner from the colosseum. I would stay there again just for the friendly staff.

You must stay at Hotel Romano! The staff was incredibly friendly (all of them without exception), you cannot beat the location (short walking distance from Coliseum and Roman Forum), they have delicious dinning options on the same block, and it was SO close to public transportation (Metro and Bus lines). This is my best stay in Rome thus far!

Petit hôtel très bien placé pour visiter autour du Colisee. Chambre assez grande, petite salle de bain,très propre mais ancien décor. Bon rapport qualité prix.

We had a lovely two night stay at Hotel Romano. Its location was spectacular, literally steps from the Colosseum and the Forum. The hotel itself is quite small and historic but did not lack in anything. There was a mini bar that my diabetic husband was able to store his supplies in and the air conditioning was more than sufficient. The staff was lovely, accommodating, and had a wealth of knowledge on the area, transportation, and dining options. They will hold your luggage pre-and post trip so you will not miss out on any of the sites and you won’t have to drag your luggage with you.

Our time at Hotel Romano was incredible. It's perfect walkable location to all the sights of Rome and the comfort of our room and bed not to mention the awesome outdoor restaurant seating just 3 steps from the front door was awesome. We would definitely stay here again. We took a Disney Cruise out of the port of Rome and it was $140 euros for private taxi. Highly recommend.

The hotel staff was friendly, helpful and informative. The location is close to the colosseum and Roman forum and easily walkable. If it is hot and humid as it was when we were there, don’t miss the ice bar to cool off. When visiting Rome, Hotel Romano is the location we would choose.

We had a wonderful stay at Hotel Romano. The staff were so kind and helpful and the hotel is conveniently located for exploring Rome. It is two blocks from the Colosseum and across the street from the Forum. There are plenty of dining options nearby and we always felt safe. We stayed in the Deluxe Double room and had a lovely terrace with a beautiful view just off our room. Staff provided us a small bottle of prosecco in our room at the time of check-in. They had solid WiFi, excellent water pressure in the shower, and good air conditioning. If you're an American and used to large hotel rooms, be aware that most of the rooms you will find in this area of Rome are going to be smaller than you are used to.
