Room as expected and stayed before. Kids loved the pool. But reception just isn’t open enough to actually take advantage of the ‘free’ breakfast as can only collect after 8:30am.. and it shuts at 8pm the night before so not that great. Poorest area was the washing machine… free to use which is great, but after trying it, no cold water getting to the tub so just spinning with no water so not getting clean. Then told staff, came and looked, put it on warm and said it was fixed… stood there watching the hot water go in, when it stopped, opened it up and half full as still had no cold water, and it was draining out the bottom. Could tell he wasn’t interested in actually fixing the problem so I had to take my half wet, dirty clothes to a 24hr washer…

Breakfast was good Our room needed some renovations in the bathroom Needed to ask for soap and toilet paper

Room was clean, bed was good, pool looked good, location to city and board walk excellent, value for money. good shower, a handyman to fix cupboard hinges ect. would be good.

Very old run down rooms, bathroom powerpoint held together with duct tape. Waited 20 mina for somebody to check me in

Large room good AC, perfectly adequate for a one night stopover.

Rooms are tired and need some tlc.

The room needed some attention too inside and out ,plus when i first arrived i went to check in the office was unattended so i rang a bell 3 times and ask if anyone was there because I heard a noise in a room then a woman walked out must of been the owner, no smile or hello and i preceded to tell her who i was,it sounds pitiful but i am a customer 3stars ⭐️⭐️⭐️

Staff were lovely. Room is very old and in need of some serious repairs renovation. Had a musty smell about.

Nice and convienent for town restaurants. Rooms very dated some of the steel handrails are a bit sus. But the bed was very comfortable and the ac was quiet and held a cool temp. For the Mackay market is a fair place to stay.

Parking ok. Everything in room old shabby and rusty. Sticky tops. Pool green looked dreadful very disappointing. Staff not friendly. Expensive for no pool. Breakfast poor just packets.

easy parking, spacious room, pool was great, comfy bed , but shower wasnt the best , only boiling hot or lukewarm seemed to be achievable.

Great location on the river a short walk to shops and restaurants

Housekeeping staff were amazing, very friendly and helpful Beds were comfy as !
