Check in was difficult and poor explanation of unlocking door. Short staffed. Food on menu wasn’t available.

The room was nice and very cozy! Could use a light update.

Dear staff Me and my boyfriend had a recent stay to celebrate belated Valentines and our first romantic weekend together (Feb 22nd -23). Unfortunately after checking in, we backed up hitting a very large decorative rock located in your parking lot ! Obviously others had hit it too since it had a small cone next to it, which wasnt seen in back up camera until its too late. Its doubly painful because my boyfriend had just gotten this car a month ago. We also had noisy kids next to us in the room and with such a thin door between the rooms it felt like they were in the room with us. Needless to say it was not the romantic get away we were hoping for. Please take care of this rock to prevent further issues to other unexpected guest. Pam Cammisa

This is the worst hotel we’ve stayed at in over 20 years. The sliding door to the bathroom was faulty, and the bathtub didn’t drain properly. The overall quality of the bathroom was subpar, and the bed sheets had an unpleasant odor. The hotel is outdated and in need of significant improvements.

Everyone who worked there was very friendly and helpful. Overall the property is nice, I could see staying there if you’re a golfer. Not really a family spot. Bathrooms were just old and run down in the hotel rooms.

It was a nice quiet stay. Nobody bothered us the 3 nights we stayed. Very nice and beautiful place. Wish the resturant would have been in busniess. It was down for renovations.

The motel was clean, but the bathrooms need to be updated, the fixtures are old. The kids enjoyed the heated pool and hot tub they were in good condition.

Honestly the only good thing was the bed. Very comfortable. Took forever to cool the room down, water pressure is so bad, whole room needs to be updated from the ceiling to the carpet. Chair in the corner was dirty and torn. Tile in shower was separating. Molding inside sliding door is broke. Stained carpet. For the price and location, I would’ve expected way better.

It was our first time visiting the property. Mike, the general manager was very helpful and accommodating. It is a beautiful place. Can not wait to visit again.

The rooms carpet had stains. There were holes and cracks in the walls of the bathroom.

Property was in disrepair. The tub was not caulked properly and there were gaps in the piece of plastic they tried to cover it with. There were spiders living in the shower and paint was peeling off the ceiling in our room. There were gaps in the ancient sliding doors that let the cold air in. The ice machine was out of order by our room and the towels were like sandpaper. The restaurant was closed, the winery was closed and we were greatly disappointed.

This place certainly has potential! The grounds are beautiful ~ but the rooms are in desperate need of a refresh and renovation!! The smell of mold and mildew was so strong we actually packed up the car and left at 10pm not even staying the night, driving back to Atlanta. Very old and needs to be deep cleaned including the drapes. Cracks and holes in the walls. Front staff was very nice!! The pool was beautiful!

We should have heeded the reviews. They were true about the horrible conditions and then some. I am so upset that my husband’s birthday night had to be moved to a Quality Inn!!! Trying to get a refund, but not sure I can since it was marked non refundable. This place smelled bad, was severely outdated, had bugs, and should NOT be called a resort!

WONDERFUL Manager (Mike) made our stay memorable and enjoyable despite the difficulty staffing while the US government pays folks ridiculously to not work instead. The location is beautiful and quiet, and everyone around was friendly. A bit older property, but maintained well and very clean.

Old rooms with a musty smell and a lumpy mattress. Lots of space, beautiful view. Great location. Exceptional staff- friendly, helpful, knowledgeable about the area
