The location is convenient. Its view is very beautiful, as it's right besides the river. The reception staffs are friendly and really willing to help. They can speak fluent English, and helped us made a few calls to make restaurant reservation, check strawberry farms. Their advices on balloon and strawberry farm were both correct. The hotel is in very old fashion, i.e. keys are still being used instead of cards, which is still ok for us. The real challenge is the rooms are not very clean. We found a long black hair in each face towel!

We made complaints to the receptionist with the attached images and we were informed that there is absolutely no problem with the cracked toilet bowl and should not worry about it. We were also told it is completely fine with no safety concerns and no leaks as it is repaired. We requested a room change but were told they are fully booked. Guests’ safety is not a concern as seen from their lackluster and dismissive response. Injuries as a result of the toilet breaking while sitting on it is not something to scoff at. If this is allowed to persist even after being informed of this issue, who knows what other issues the management of this hotel is failing to address. Would not recommend this hotel.

Hotel looks nice on the outside ND lobby too. But the rooms very dated. However the rooms are clean. It's just a stopover for us and room size is small. Uses traditional keys to open room doors There are also limited electrical power points. There's nothing much near by too.

Lobby and lounge were well maintained but rooms were small and dated, however, they were clean and had the necessary amenities. Staff were courteous and efficient and i had no problems checking in without any knowledge of Japanese. Buffet breakfast was ok, nothing exceptional but a good mix of Japanese and western choices. Location was ok. A 30 minute walk to Saga JR and the shopping area there which was decked out for Chrismas already when i visited in November.

Properly old school business hotel. Lots of faded retro feels here. The console in the rooms are almost antiques, with buttons for NHK radio and BGM tunes. Nice views. We also bought some sparkling wine from the bar downstairs that was dead flat.
