Always a great stay. Staff are welcoming, rooms are so comfortable, clean and stylish with the most ridiculously big showers you've ever seen, could probably fit 10 people if you were that way inclined... Food is excellent, breakfast particularly. Breakfast

Very good. Nice place, nice staff. Breakfast is a bit up market for me. I prefer just to be left to a no nonsense full English. This is saying the quality and presentation is more than I want

The receptionist was very helpful and check-in was easy. We were in the Beringer room which is large with a great bathroom. Unfortunately the air-con/heating unit was broken and not heating the room. However there was an oil radiator in the room. We also couldn't call reception directly due to the lack of a phone, so had to call the main number from a mobile. Breakfast was good, but we arrived late so didn't see the full array pastries on offer. The hotel needs a little work in some areas, having said that I would still recommend this hotel.

Lovely building, the old sugar house in the city centre. Bedrooms are large. Restaurant is spacious, French cuisine, very tasty and not cheap! (as you would expect).

Great spacious room, very accommodating for us travelling with a baby providing a travel cot, extra towels and a changing mat. Luxurious staff and very friendly staff

Room was great, much bigger than I was expecting. Breakfast was excellent, great choices available.

We always have the best stay at this hotel, it's beautiful, clean & all the staff are so friendly. The hotel manager even took the time to chat to us & got my dog a sausage from the kitchen! We'll be back

Attentive staff with good customer care skills. I have never before had my food allergy taken so seriously. Staff couldn’t have done more to ensure my breakfast was safe for me to eat.

The location was great and the room decor was cool, but the building is older and so there’s not really any soundproofing between floors or from the hallway/outside. The earplugs the hotel graciously provided couldn’t quite bridge that gap.

I had a beautiful bathroom 🛁 same size as room. It was convenient/central but quiet. Parking is limited.

Beautiful large rooms. If I was going to criticise anything, I missed having a bathrobe. Also it was quite a dark room

Room was lovely with nice bathroom but staff weren’t overly friendly. Had our dog with us and on previous visits to this and other Hotel du Vin we have been provided with a dog bed in the room but on this visit a bed wasn’t provided even though we advised in advance that he would be with us which was disappointing.

A bit hot even with radiators off. But a lovely atmospheric room with subdued lighting, perfect for a romantic weekend.

Room was fantastic

The room was absolute beautiful and I loved the little touches. The feature walls, double bath and shower were stunning. The bed was comfortable and I liked the separate sofas area. I loved the dim lighting, it added to the ambience and the tvs were huge. Its probably the best room I have ever stayed in. It was cold in the room and I had spoken to reception to turn the heating on but it was still cold. None of the radiators worked but the room was large and I assumed it will take some time to heat up. By that time, I got in to bed and warmed up. Becarful of the hot taps, they were very very hot!

Really friendly staff, lovely room nice and clean amazing breakfast and really comfortable bed!
