The Woodlands was a beautiful stay. I loved the surrounding wild life and peacefulness about it. Staff were wonderful and went out of their way to support me, being I am disabled and require a stick to walk. The bed was extremely comfortable, clean & fresh. Nice hot showers. Breakfast was excellent and catered to my tastes. Overall I would recommend the Woodlands if your looking for a stay that offers peaceful space, nature and a very warm welcome. I will certainly be returning next year when booking for the festival I was attending.

Room was nice & clean , very good powerful shower , lovely home cooked fresh breakfast, the manager was very helpful too and made you feel very welcome, peaceful surroundings, oh and loved the donkeys , About 8-9 mins drive to ELY town centre and the Cathedral, will definitely return ,

Very friendly and helpful owners. Have stayed a few times. Breakfast is excellent. Fresh produce and nicely prepared. Very close to Ely and well placed for visiting Cambridge as well. It’s off the beaten track surrounded by nature, lots of resident wildlife.

What a lovely place to stay. Couldn't fault it. Friendly, helpful staff, comfortable clean room, quiet, pretty, rural location, excellent breakfast. Good value. Would stay again for sure.

We stayed as a family of 4 (2 kids under 6) and the family suite was perfect. Sean was such a helpful and friendly host and the breakfast was outstanding.

A warm welcome after a long drive from Jane/Owner. Accommodation was clean and comfortable, the shower was instantly warm! The owners were lovely, very friendly, attentive and accommodating. My daughter and I were going out very early one morning and thought we would miss breakfast so Sean/owner made us bacon sandwiches and put cartons of juice in the fridge to take with us! The breakfasts were tasty too, full english and poached eggs on toast. We were greeted each morning by the owners two donkeys. We enjoyed sightings of squirrels, rabbits, and a green woodpecker. We had a lovely peaceful stay, would recommend, and hope to stay again as very close to my family and Ely, thank you!

Handy for Newmarket races. Breakfast ok Paintwork could do with touching up in places, but it serves my purpose and I will stay again

Really enjoyed my stay here, the owners are very friendly, and the breakfast was fantastic. If I was to really, really 'nitpick' the WiFi signal was a little weak and I ended up reverting back to my mobile data, but everything else was brilliant and I'll definitely be booking here again if and when the opportunity arises. Have already recommended to several colleagues.
