Clean room A bit dated could do with been modernised

Unfortunately this hotel had changed management since the last time we had stayed there a couple of years ago. Nobody serving in the bar on an evening, reception even in the middle of the day at check in time there was no staff member in sight. Once we got to the room, the room door lock had enough play in it for me to fit my finger behind it. Very small shelf for a kettle, 2 mugs, and sachets of coffee, tea etc. Another problem that we found was that there were no bedside lights or anywhere near the side of the bed to charge our mobile phones etc. Bed was comfy though but glad it was only a one night stay. Improvements needed.

The room was clean and well stocked. Staff were polite and helpful.

The reception lady was very helpful and happy, made us feel very welcome. The room itself was absolutely perfect, we had room 1, on the ground floor, it was lovely and warm and the bed was super comfy! Exceptionally clean Would definitely stay here again.

The room was very cosy

For a start the hotel had music blasting away on the Saturday evening until well after 11pm. It won’t be as bad if there wasn’t that many hotels on one street

The room, we stayed in family room, and there was barely any space to turn around, the bathroom - you needed to wait around 15-20 minutes till warm water started. Curtains especially in that room where we stayed need to be replaced or washed A part of it, the hotel itself (or enter the hotel ) pretty clean

Nice breakfast and tea with toast !

Some updating required but overall a very nice place. Excellent and very polite staff.

It was ok for couple of days.Had entertainment/bingo/karaoke. .But nothing at all.Nothing to do in evening Spent my evenings across the road at Ruskin Hotel.Great entertainment each night.Much prefer that

Great value for money and excellent friendly helpful staff also very centrally located and has some on st parking

We had an amazing time here. The owners were a pleasure to work with. It was very comfortable and in a great location. Easy walking distance to the Winter Gardens. If I make it back to Blackpool, I will definitely stay here again.

We went to winter gar5for a festival hotle in great.plave needs a refresh but iver all ok has issue with room booking chargers but all sorted by end of trip overall good hotel

Bathroom had a funny smell, bathroom/toilet door wouldn’t shut so no privacy, mattresses not very comfortable

We could not stay it was dirty and small We went over the road and had a brilliant experience yes it was more expensive but I couldn’t have slept in the Oxford hotel

Very basic. Could hear girls arguing late at night from one if the rooms. Woke up at 630 as could hear other guests taking showers and music/tv from close rooms. Room was clean but very dated

We needed a hotel for two nights due to the all inclusive hotel we had booked for five nights having to close until the Tuesday so it was a bit of a panic booking. In respect of the Oxford hotel I’m sad to say this place is not fit for purpose the whole hotel needs major renovations and refurbishment, outdated rooms dirty carpets a tiny shelf with a kettle and two dirty cups 70s style en suite tiny shower cabinet held together with lumps of silicone. The breakfast consisted of overcooked bacon overcooked eggs greasy sausage cold beans and paper thin toast and if you like butter then you will be disappointed it was a tub of heavenly buttery not even utterly buttery placed on the table. I understand these are new owners but they really need to up their game.

Everything they made me welcome & nothing was a problem but they wasn't any problem 💯. Great breakfast comfy bed great shower. I am definitely going bk there thats for sure . Thank you 😊
