Great stay

The interior was great. The service was great the location not good the exterior not good. Definitely try and stay on the second floor.

The hotel seemed a little sketchy at first. Motel 6 doesn't have the best reputation for area and cleanliness. The employees at the front desk were polite. There are quite a few homeless people in the area, but none on the actual property. There are many stores and places to eat close by. There was a bit of a party going on when we got there, but we didn't hear anything at night. It was quiet. Room was clean, but small. It was a "normal" hotel stay. Nothing extremely special, but nothing terrible to complain about.

It’s not the Ritz Carlton but gets 5 stars from me because for the price it’s a great stay. Comfortable and close to a great family owned restaurant. Plenty of parking. Well lit.

The staff were excellent, courteous, and helpful. The rooms clean but cramped. The area frequented by homeless and industrial. Nice restaurant across the parking lot.

I asked Expedia to reserve a room in Motel 6 in Arcata California, and they booked me into Motel 6 in Eureka - 25 miles south. Arcata still had a room, but I doubt if I will use Expedia again

Our room had a very strong “clean” smell and the front desk guy came to check it out and immediately moved us - he had a lot of people checking in and still took the time. :) Very kind!

Overall a fairly average motel - one very good local diner close by, but access into and out of the site northbound is awkward; literally dozens of semi-trucks seem to use the sidestreet to park on and turning directly out onto 101 takes forever thanks to traffic. Decent renos but still 'old bones', if you like quiet take an upstairs room if you can handle dragging luggage up the stairs as while we didn't hear either neighbouring room beside us we did hear folks above walking around on the creaking floor.

It was ok. The room was pretty clean but the bed was rock hard.

There were 5 year olds screaming outside at 2am.

Clean, comfortable room & bed. Not spacious.

Older property. Good value if your just passing through

Thought I had three nights through y’all got here thought I had three nights they charged me the price I was told but then I only had two nights had to pay another $120 for today being Monday

The staff was great and the room was clean. We felt safe. There is a great little restaurant right across the parking lot.

I went to check in at 11:30am & the guy at the front desk wasn’t there and then I waited for 10 minutes. Then when he finally gets there he has a ton of attitude and was very rude.

Convenient, breakfast restaurant in walking distance.

parking area needs repaving

The rooms were really great! And the staff was wonderful! The parking lot was a little dingy and the area was a little questionable but honestly there isn’t anything that the staff could do about that. Everyone we interacted with were lovely!

Clean and safe, but a bit noisy.

The bathroom door opens inward into a very tiny bathroom. my friend lost their balance and hurt themselves when she fell into the tub and sprained her hand. the door needs to be open into the room. also the door knob if opened one way is locked.
