We had 4 night booking with this property but had horror experience with them as detailed below: Issues with the room are: 1. The walls were soggy 2. Beds were horrible with just single spring! 3. There was no hot water and heater in the room ( it was <8 degrees cold) 4. Room cleanliness was bad 5. My wife got wheezing issue within 10 mins due to the above room conditions Due to this I had to move out of this hotel within 30 mins of checking in and move to other better hotel in Chanakyapuri! I would never recommend this to anyone even if you are on shoestring budget!!

Only good thing about hotel was amiable behavior of staff. Rest of the things were ridiculous Too much Cockroaches in rooms Dirty bathrooms No kitchen in hotel even though they claim free breakfast Breakfast was brought from outside on demand (free), but it was too limited AC was not working properly Rooms were having open windows, which were nt even closing properly, bit scary in being delhi Walls plaster were broken and peeling off Curtains were having too much dust...

Catastrophic, hotel in repair, no one says anything about it. There is no roof to seat like the advertisement says. Everything there barley working. And the hotel is not clean.

Absolutely filthy disgusting place. Noisy. Claustrophobic place. Rude staff. Sheets, pillows soiled, filthy and unwashed. Bathroom reeked of urine and filthy. We booked Superior room. The room given was certainly not superior. When complained, was dismissed by management. Left first thing in the morning. Asked for refund on nights not stayed considering the advertised room was not supplied. Again dismissed by the 5 men who I presume work there who stand around the dark damp reception. Did not even bother to argue just wanted out of there asap.

Very bad. Sorry to say about the pathetic condition of the restaurant ( for that matter there is no restaurant - just eyewash ). Room service & staff behavior is pathetic. Soiled sheets :(

We asked for a family room for 4 adults. Unfortunately there was one double bed and a single bed in the room. There was no settee nor space for mattress to add on. You charged me £80 extra to accommodate the fourth person in vain. We had to hire an another single room for our fourth member of the family at our own cost. It was disappointing, distressful and inconvenient. I did not expect such a poor service from reputable company like Expedia

One of the worst experiences ever in a hotel. The bedsheets, pillow cases and comforter duvet all were dull yellow (when supposed to be white), and had big stains all over - what appeared to be blood stains, and green crusty stains. We asked to replace, and they were reluctant and a similar condition duvet was brought in. Used flip flops were left in the room, the AC and TV were not working either, and pieces were falling of the wall. The room was so bad that despite booking for 5 days we left right away and went to another place. The management insisted that we stay at one of their other hotels, but after this experience it was unthinkable. They refused to refund any of our 5 booked days with them.

This is a very small budget hotel located at very busy street. No breakfast provided even though they claim they have in online. Overall our experience with this hotel are very poor. Please avoid is possible.

The area (which is out of the hotels direct control) is very bad. Packs of dogs and dog fights right in front of the hotel. There was an area where someone was putting the dogs messes in front of the hotel (they could clean this up). The hotel was in some disarray and holes in front of the hotel maybe due to construction. Dark and dingy hotel and not very clean. Roof top restaurant is more like street vendor on the roof top serving food. Although we prepaid the hotel, we refused to stay there and ended up getting another hotel room. I am not sure how the hotel has this high of rating and if they are all legitimate. We are a long term user and travel the world. We trust Expedia, but it is unfathomable how this hotel has this high of rating.

This hotel was at the end of s dangerous ally. We secured a room for one twin and one double but got a king bed. The throw rug At the end of the bed had never been vacuumed. The bathroom smelled like urine and mothballs. This hotel would be better than sleeping on the streets, but that's about it. No one who is not Indian should ever stay at this hotel. You are blocked in and there is a tremendous amount of foot traffic from local markets. It is definitely not safe. We only stayed one night because we got there late. We were out as soon as possible! It was also very loud and they left the hall lights on which shined through a huge windows in the room. I had read positive reviews so I gave it a chance. But I put my friend and me in danger!

The hotel itself was okay, but our room got so incredibly damp that we could barely sleep. By morning, the windows were covered. AC wasn't working to try and help the humidity.

I stayed here for one night in December 2016 and I found it a very good value as far as Indian hotels go (I paid $20/night). The location is good in that it's situated in a typical Indian environment which is a must experience, while at the same time it is close to a metro station (5 minute walk) that makes all the top sights in New Delhi easily accessible. Other than that, the hotel was very clean for Indian standards and the amenities were also good for the price. Finally, the staff was very friendly (especially Khan).

We found it difficult to find the hotel (at least ten minutes wandering around backstreets off the main bazaar). We eventually found it and then were sent to the Shelton Hotel on the main bazaar. The Shelton had a good breakfast on the rooftop but few other redeming features. The window in the room didn’t close which was a problem because the main bazaar is very noisy. The area is close to New Delhi train station but we (couple in early 30s) found the area sleazy, loud and unpleasant. Area has lots of bars so might appeal to backpackers.

The hotel itself is average. We booked two rooms for 5 people. The room sizes are adequate although the closet space is limited. The washrooms have frosted glass doors with with no frames (kinda like toilet stalls in public washrooms), which could be an issue if you are traveling with friends or relatives. The showers are terrible with barely any water force. Room service was painfully slow. However the manager and the staff were extremely nice and helpful. Overall an average stay.

Room generally okay for price range, but staff only clean the room and make up the beds if you ask them to do it and seem surprised when you do. They pass off normal water as bottled mineral water - beware - this can give you hepatitis so use only for boiling for tea and coffee. The breakfast was totally inedible, with scrambled eggs tasting like they had been cooked in engine oil. On the upside the location is very good with good access to the main bazaar, rail station and metro and being located in a quiet street one can get a decent night's sleep.
