Place was pretty good. Kitchen was well stocked but the provided cleaning products were awful. We had to buy our own. Also, there were only two toilet rolls for a week long stay, for three people and they charge to replenish them. The place looked nice but the quality of the fittings was low. Taps were loose and cabinets felt like they would break easily. The bed was like granite. The staff were lovely though. I can't compliment them enough. You have to buy a ridiculous green swim cap to go in the pool but thankfully, no one wore them. The outdoor pool is unheated, so don't bother if it's cold. Breakfast was pretty good. We indulged on the last day due to the terrible nature of the cleaning products, we didn't want to have to wash up in the morning before 10am check out. Overall, I'd stay there again as it was a good price. As a point DO NOT follow Google maps to the location or you will go up a very narrow, very steep path that leads to the back entrance of the property which is locked. Turning round requires a high degree of clutch control and a powerful car. Follow the signs to the hotel or you may die. The lady on reception casually told us this happens all the time. Well maybe do something about it then.

Pro - The view of Lake Garda from atop the mountain is unbeatable. Its probably one of the highest hotels in the area. Outdoor/Indoor Swimming Pool, Game Room - the works. Perfect for a long getaway. Cons - 1. Its a long winding drive from Lake Garda Level to the top of the mountain. 2. Its a resort with many functionalities removed and renamed to residence (Daily Room Service, Tea/Coffee in room, etc) 3. Room cleaning fees 30/stay - not mentioned at the time of Booking. Conveniently hidden away in the Hotel Policies.

The room was very basic and the mountain view was a view to the parking lot. The bed was not great. The road to the hotel is very steep and windy and as there is little to do at the hotel, going places added at least 30 minutes to the travel time. Can only be recommended for a night or 2 for the view over the lake. Breakfast was quite good. Dinner so so...

Absolutely fantastic in every way.

We had a terrific stay in this beautiful apartment, very friendly staff; always positive. Apartment was more spacious than pictures showed, and the lake view was stunning! When booking, we were not sure what was provided or not within the apartment. Although the hotel, thankfully, provided towels, they did not offer toilet tissue or washing liquid for the dishes. Not a problem, but would have been good to know.

Great views, decent hotel

nice hotel but surprised when 4star hotel charged 50 euro extra for sheets and towels. Shame. Otherwise nice.

Väldigt trevligt hotell med fantastisk utsikt, lite slingrig väg upp till hotellet dock. Byn Tignale var väldigt trevlig.

You have to pay extra for many things. It is also somewhat nicely furnished. Next time we would prefer accommodation further down.

Das Hotel liegt oben auf dem Berg in Tignale. D.h. wer Probleme mit Serpentinen hat, sollte sich auf eine etwas anstrengendere Anreise vorbereiten. Der Ausblick vom Hotel über den Gardasee entschädigt für jede Strapaze während der Anreise. Unser Apartment war sehr sauber und gut ausgestattet (Küche mit Kaffeemaschine, Mikrowelle, Herd, Sandwichmaker, etc.). Wir haben sehr gut in den Betten geschlafen. Am ersten Abend waren wir auch im Restaurant des Hotels. Das Essen war sehr gut. Ansonsten haben wir uns selbst verpflegt, so dass wir zum Frühstücks- und Abendessensangebot nichts sagen können. Für unser Frühstück gab es einen Brötchenservice, den wir gern genutzt haben. Die Brötchen kamen aus einer ortsansässigen Bäckerei und waren lecker. Die Mitarbeiter des Hotels waren sehr freundlich und serviceorientiert. Der Pool ist sehr schön, wir haben ihn aber nicht oft genutzt, weil wir immer unterwegs waren. Den Indoorpool haben wir gar nicht genutzt. Es gab auch einige Aktivitäten bzw. Erlebnisse, die angeboten wurden, z.B. Yoga, Pilates, Tiramisu machen, Alpaka-Tour, etc. Tignale aus gibt es auch einige Wanderrouten. Von Aer aus kann man z.B. zu einem Wasserfall auf einem Rundweg wandern. Eine schöne Wanderung für alle, die noch gut zu Fuß sind (teilweise sehr schmaler Weg mit steinigen Passagen und Sicherung durch Seile). Alles in allem ein sehr schönes Hotel am Gardasee für alle, die die Natur und Ruhe genießen, und dabei auf keinen Komfort verzichten wollen.

Wir kommen auf jeden Fall wieder! Hotel / Zimmer: Sehr schönes Hotel, gepflegt und sauber. Die Auffahrt hat was... aber ab dem 2. mal gehts gut. Es liegt weit oben am Berg und man muss schon einkalkulieren, dass es etwas Zeit braucht um nach Salo oder Limone zu fahren. In den gemütlichen Ort läuft man 10 min Bergab oder man fährt halt. Es gibt sehr gute Restaurants, Konsum und eine Olivenölmühle. Die Zimmer sind in Ordnung, allerdings sollte man nicht die unterm Restaurant nehmen! Es ist sehr laut wenn morgens oder Abends Stühle und Tische verrückt werden. Und unsere Betten waren sehr hart, ist halt Geschmacksache. Es gibt einen kleinen Spielplatz und einen extra für Hunde. Ein Kinderclub mit Tischtennis, Tischfussball und viel für ganz kleine, ein Trampolin und Schach auf der Terasse. Das Personal ist wirklich toll, nett, aufmerksam, zuvorkommend und freundlich!!! Es gab sogar noch ende Oktober Angebote wie Yoga, Weinverkostung und Halloweenparty (leider am Abreisetag) Das Schwimmbad und der Whirlpool sind klasse. Alles sauber und gepflegt. Liegen, Laufbänder usw. alles da. Sie machen sogar Yoga nur für eine Person, klasse! Highlight**** Die Aussicht ist der Hammer! Abend mit Wein oder Bierchen auf dem Balkon... ein Traum. Und... am Gardasee muss man sich im Herbst meisten entscheiden - Morgens Sonne und Abends nicht oder anders herum. Tignale ist so gelegen, dass man Früh und Abend Sonne hat.
