Fun boutique hotel - renovation in the Denver Union Station with unique retro/mod room designs. Our room had two full bathrooms! Lots of great dining and bar options in the building and within close walking distance. Riverfront trail close by for walk, run, bike. Highly recommend.

I stayed at the Crawford Hotel for 3 nights in June, it was not a good experience. I paid for an upgraded room and was allocated a room about 3ft from the entrance and host stand of the Cooper’s Lounge, the hotel’s marquee cocktail bar. Besides the obvious noise issues late into the night, there was a complete lack of privacy and security as an entire bar watched me, a solo female traveler, enter and exit my hotel room every day. There is a general lack of security for that wing of the hotel, you can simply take a flight of open stairs directly across from the amtrak ticket office to access all of the rooms along the open atrium. No security gates, not even ropes, to stop you. Keep in mind, the Crawford is located inside an active, working metro/train station in an urban center with a lot of coming and going throughout the day. I asked to change my room immediately upon seeing its location and was told the hotel was fully booked that night. I checked again the next morning, while many guests were checking out, and was told again they were fully booked and had no room to switch me into. Attaching some photos as it really helps paint the picture.

I stayed at this hotel for 3 days. It was really horrible. At this time of the morning, someone opened our room door without knocking. They disappeared without even saying sorry. Then at lunchtime, someone opened the door again without knocking. They disappeared without even saying a word. I don't understand how this can happen in a 5 star hotel. I've been traveling for a long time and this is the first time this has happened. I went to the front desk to tell them about this and they said it was a hotel employee. If it was a hotel employee's mistake, I think the employee who opened the door should have apologized. But they disappeared without even saying a word. It was a really horrible day.

The hotel was located in the train station, which was a unique feature yet quite unsafe. As well as the bed, but the hotel has zero amenities, no place to purchase any type of toiletries, no available room service for any items, no change for valet, etc. For the price of the room for one evening and an additional $64 for valet it was absolutely not worth it. Unsatisfied customer 🙁

Staff was amazing. Every restaurant we ate at in the hotel was great! Liked that the train dropped us off right there.

Very swanky property. Loved the vibe of the room. Staff were wonderful. Lots of wonderful perks. Just a lovely place to explore Denver. Would definitely stay here again.

Love all the free drinks and ride to our concert, however we had to wait a very long time to get into our room and then we could not get back into the hotel easily when we arrived back at union station. The rooms are nice, but it feels very disjointed and was very expensive so expected more.

This is a great spot to stay to do things in Denver Lots to walk to and 15 steps from the station which we couldn’t hear at all even though our room was overlooking it

The Crawford Hotel is in a prime location. Just a few minutes walk from Coors Field (we were there to catch a game). Union Station is also the meeting point for a lot of tours and trips. The hotel staff were very friendly and helpful. The amenities are great including Lyft service to places within 2 miles- very convenient and the staff was so prompt and responsive when coordinating it. The room was very spacious and had great lighting. But there were no drawers or closet space. So that wasn't ideal. Valet is expensive ($64/night). Consider booking a parking garage close by (though some might not have in and out privileges). But the hotel itself was great and the staff was amazing. Great hospitality is getting rarer and rarer- but this hotel has it! I would definitely stay there again!

Yearly trip out west with our first stop always being Denver. First stay at the Crawford. The Crawford has a vintage feel with all the modern amenities. With it being older I was concerned about space for my things, sufficient outlets, etc but it felt like they thought of everything. We loved our room and the bathroom was nice. I have read complaints about hearing trains. We were on the fourth floor and I only faintly heard them around 6am. I could tell the sound had been dampened. We dined at “Mercantile Dining and Provision” and “Snooze”. The first is kind of like higher end dining where the focus is on in season ingredients. The portions are like “tapas” so it can get pricey. Food was great but won't be loved by the average diner. For breakfast “Snooze” is an almost can't miss! I highly recommend it. Overall we loved The Crawford and would recommened as a great stay. My only complaint is more about Denver. I actually love coming here but there seems to be a large amount of “burnouts” walking around everywhere. You will see some walking in front of the Crawford and thru the train station inside. If your from a big city it won’t bother you. Feels more like an adult destination. Rob
